Components

• 25 monster cards (double-sided cards)
• 3 candy cards (double-sided cards)

Game Play

Shuffle the monster cards and candy cards together, and arrange them on the tabletop in a 7x4 grid.

The youngest player goes first. When it's your turn, choose between "Find the Monsters" or "Take Candy":

1. Find the Monsters

Flip over the 2 monster cards on the table.

If they are the same monster after flipping them over, collect that pair of cards and keep them in front of you, and you can flip over the cards again (you can't take the candy card at this time). If you flip over the same monster again, you can continue. Keep going until you flip over two different monster cards.

If you flip over two different monster cards, there's no need to turn them back over, I leave them as they are for the next player.

2. Take Candy

Take 1 candy card from the table and keep it in front of you. Then, flip over the monster cards that are closest in the up, down, left, and right directions to the candy card. Leave the flipped cards in their positions, and take the next player's turn.

※ Even if you flip over the same monsters, you won't get them.

Game End

At the end of any player's turn, if there are 0-2 monster cards left on the table, the game ends.

Each player totals the number of stars in the bottom right corner of the "monster cards and candy cards" they have collected in front of them. The player with the most stars wins!

Difficulty and Playtime

In the game, there are 5 types of monster cards. During game setup, reducing the number of monster card types can make the game simpler and shorter. For every 1 type of monster reduced, you must also reduce 1 candy card. The number of monster types and candy quantities are as follows:

• 5 types of monsters: 25 monster cards + 3 candy cards, 28 cards in a 7x4 grid.
• 4 types of monsters: 16 monster cards + 2 candy cards, 18 cards in a 6x3 grid.
• 3 types of monsters: 9 monster cards + 1 candy card, 10 cards in a 5x2 grid.
