Goal of the Game

Everyone is out of band! The monkey gang is completely confused. Whoever is the first to have all 6 monkeys of a color on their board wins the game.

Preparation

Each player takes a board and a matching set of monkeys of that color. Put all players' monkeys into the bag (7 total; 6 minimum). With two players, you may take two boards (and two sets of monkeys) per player. Whoever has the next birthday starts, and play goes clockwise.

Turn

On your turn, pull a monkey from the bag without looking:

  • If the monkey that you draw belongs to another player: hand it to the player whose monkey it is; they put it on their board. Then you draw again, repeating this process until you get one of your own monkeys.
  • If it is your color monkey: put it on your own board, and pass the bag-o-monkeys to your left. It is now the next player's turn.

Game End

The game is over when a player is the first to have his monkey gang together. I.e.: As soon as a game board is filled with 6 monkeys of one color, that player wins. MONKEY BINGO!
