Components

  • Dinosaur Cards x45
  • Betting Cards x42

There are two types of Dinosaur Cards:

  • Running Dinosaur: Each running dinosaur of that color moves forward one step.
  • Slipping Dinosaur: When played, remove one dinosaur of the same color from the field. If there are no dinosaurs of that color on the field, nothing happens and the card is removed.

Betting Cards: The source of player points. Points are awarded if conditions are met at the end of the game. There is no penalty for unmet conditions.

Setup

  1. Shuffle all betting cards and deal 8 to each player.
  2. Shuffle all dinosaur cards and deal 10/ 10/ 8/ 7 cards to each player when there are 2/ 3/ 4/ 5 players, respectively.
    • You can't rearrange the order of dinosaur cards in hand.
  3. The player who most resembles a dinosaur goes first.

Game Play

Players take turns in clockwise order. On your turn, perform one of the two actions:

A. Play a dinosaur card. Play one leftmost dinosaur card from your hand to the public area. Players should group identical dinosaur cards together for easy viewing.

  • If you want, you can discard any card from your hand before playing the leftmost dinosaur card.

B. Play a betting card. Choose one betting card from your hand and play it faceup or facedown, but you can only play faceup twice and facedown twice throughout the entire game.

  • During the game, no additional cards will be drawn.
  • If a player doesn't have an action, skip their turn.

Game End

When a dinosaur has 5 cards or all players have no actions to do, the game ends. Players then calculate their betting results, and the player with the most points wins. If tie, they share the victory!

Rank Clarification

At the end of the game, the following situation may occur:

  1. Multiple players tie for first place (triggered when all players have no actions left): They all share first place, and the next group of dinosaurs is considered second place.
  2. Multiple dinosaurs tie for last place: When multiple dinosaurs are last, they are all tied for last place.
  3. A dinosaur may simultaneously be in second place and last place.

Variant Rules

When playing with 2 players, the game starts with an additional 10 dinosaurs set aside as automated player. After both players take their turns each round, the automated player plays the leftmost dinosaur card. All other rules are the same as in a 3-player game.

Card Description

  • Each (1 point): Each blue grandpa dinosaur gets 1 point.
  • = 0/3 (9 points): When the Groom Dinosaur has exactly 0 or 3 cards, it gets 9 points.
  • Groom > Bride (7 points): When the Groom Dinosaur has more cards than the Bride Dinosaur, it gets 7 points.
  • 2nd (7 points): If the Skateboarding Dinosaur comes in second place, it gets 7 points.
  • < 14 (10 points): When the total number of dinosaur cards on the public area is less than 14, get 10 points.
  • Last (8 points): If the Bride Dinosaur comes in last place, it gets 8 points.
  • = (6 points): When the Skateboarding Dinosaur has the same number of cards as the Red Baby or Blue Grandpa dinosaur, score 6 points. If both conditions are met, still only 6 points.
  • = 1/2 (8 points): When the Red Baby Dinosaur has exactly 1 or 2 cards, it gets 8 points.
  • 1 Set (9 points): 5 different colored dinosaurs form a group. If there is exactly 1 group on the public area, score 9 points. It cannot be 0, 2, 3 groups.
