Summary
Minecrash is a social deduction game in which a group of Players competes for victory, but there is a hidden Énderflan that they will have to discover.
At the start of the game, a Hidden Role is dealt to each Player. The game is played in rounds with three phases:
- Looteo Phase: roll the die to get Money and buy Weapons, Armor and Powers to improve your options.
- Random Event Phase: spin the wheel to trigger random events that the group of Players will have to deal with. It looks like the Admins of the online game are trying to liven things up!
- PvP Phase: Player versus Player phase, where Players fight to eliminate the Énderflan or defeat a Final Boss.
From now on, when we refer to the people who take part in games of Minecrash, we will say "Players".

Objective
There are two types of objective, depending on whether your Hidden Role is a Character or the Énderflan (and also the Witch, for games of 5-6 Players, see Special Roles).
Characters
To win the game, they have 2 options:
- Eliminate the Énderflan.
- Obtain 3 Énderflan Eyes and defeat 1 Final Boss.
When 1 Character achieves one of these objectives, they win the game.
Énderflan and Witch
The Énderflan, and its ally the Witch (in games of 5 or 6 Players), form a team and win or lose together. Their objectives are:
- Kill every Character who is still alive in the game.
- Obtain 3 Énderflan Eyes and defeat a Final Boss.
If the team achieves one of these objectives, they win the game.
The Énderflan can win even if the Witch dies.
Game Setup
- Prepare the Hidden Roles deck: deal 1 card to each Player, at random and face down. Each Player looks at their own card, but must not show it to anyone else. Prepare the deck according to the number of Players:
| Players | Roles |
|---|---|
| 3 Players | 2 Characters and 1 Énderflan |
| 4 Players | 3 Characters and 1 Énderflan |
| 5 Players | 3 Characters, 1 Énderflan and 1 Witch |
| 6 Players | 4 Characters, 1 Énderflan and 1 Witch |
(For the 1vs1 mode, see 1vs1 Mode.)
- Give each Player:
- 1 Help card.
- 3 Lives.
- 2 Player dice of the same color.
- 1 Weapon of value 1.
- 1 Armor of value 1.
- Each Player places their Weapon and Armor face up in their play area in front of them, next to their Lives and their dice.
- Shuffle the Weapons, Armor, Powers and Troll decks separately: then place them face down on the table, within everyone's reach, forming a column.
- Set up the Market: reveal the first 3 cards of the Weapons, Armor and Powers decks. Place the cards face up forming a row next to each deck. If at any time there are 3 identical cards or 3 Enchantments in a row of the Market, shuffle them back into the deck and reveal 3 new cards.
- Form a supply with: the Re-Roll, Énderflan Eye, Coin and Life tokens within everyone's reach. Also leave the Énderflan's black dice next to the supply.
- Place the Money die and the Random Events wheel in the center of the table, within everyone's reach. Place the Round marker on "1st Round".
- Turn marker: give it to whoever gets the highest result after rolling the Money die 1 time.
How to Play
The game is played in rounds, each of them divided into 3 Phases. The person with the Turn marker plays first in each Phase and play continues in turns counter-clockwise until everyone has played a turn in each Phase.
- 1st Phase: Looteo
- 2nd Phase: Random Event*
- 3rd Phase: Player vs Player
*This Phase is only played once the identity of the Énderflan has been revealed.
1st Phase: Looteo
Get strong with equipment and cards to blow away the rest. You can already make a good coin roll!
During this phase, on your turn you can buy Weapon, Armor and/or Power cards from the Market, as well as Énderflan Eyes, in exchange for the Coins you get with the die.
Starting with the person with the Turn marker, on your turn, roll the Money die and take as many Coin tokens as the result indicates. Then you may spend those Coins to buy cards. The price is shown at the top of each card. You can buy as many cards as you want, as long as you have enough Coins to cover their cost. After buying a card, fill the gap at that moment by revealing a new card from the corresponding deck, so that there will always be 3 cards of each type in the Market.
If there are no Weapons of value 1 in the Market during your turn and you have no Weapon, you can buy a Weapon of value 1, searching for it in the deck and paying the corresponding Coin. The same applies to Armor: if on your Looteo turn you have no Armor and there is none of value 1 available, you can search the deck for an Armor of value 1 and buy it for 1 Coin. In both cases, shuffle the deck after searching for the card.
You can only buy Enchantments if you have a Weapon or an Armor on which to play them. Enchantments are always attached to a Weapon/Armor (max. 1 Enchantment per card); when buying one, put it under your Weapon or Armor card so that the Enchantment's effect remains visible. If you steal an Enchanted Weapon or Armor from 1 Player, you steal it with the Enchantment included. If you discard it, also discard the Enchantment.
You can also buy 1 Énderflan Eye for 4 Coins, only once in each Looteo Phase, but you cannot get your 3rd Eye this way; if you already have 2 Eyes, you cannot buy more.
You do not have to spend all your Coins in each phase; you can save as many as you want to spend in future rounds.
If there are already Trolls in the game (see Trolls), each Troll draws 2 cards from the Troll deck, or else exchanges the 2 cards they did not play in the previous PvP phase for 2 new cards.
Once everyone has played their turn, move on to the 2nd Phase.
IMPORTANT: You can only have 1 Weapon and 1 Armor and a maximum of 1 Enchantment on the Weapon and 1 on the Armor.
You can have a maximum of 2 Power cards. If the Énderflan has already revealed its identity, it can have up to 3 Powers. Keep your Powers in your hand without showing them, but in view of the rest of the Players.
Remember, if at any time in the game there are 3 identical cards or 3 Enchantments in a row of the Market, shuffle those cards back into the deck and reveal 3 new cards.
Anatomy of the Cards
Weapons and Armor: Type; Value; Special effect (if any); Number of dice and Re-Rolls for the roll.
- = 1 die
- = 2 dice
- = 1 Re-Roll
You can ONLY carry 1 Weapon and 1 Armor. If you get a new one, you equip it and discard the old one.
Powers: Type; Value; Targets; Effect.
Targets: an upward arrow icon means Other Players; a downward arrow icon means Yourself. The Target of the card indicates whether you can only play it on other Players, only on yourself, or on everyone.
Enchantments: Type (Weapon or Armor enchantment); Value; Effect icon; Enchantment effect. The color also identifies whether it is for a Weapon (red) or Armor (blue). It must remain visible when placed under the corresponding Weapon or Armor.
2nd Phase: Random Event
The Admins think there have been too few casualties, so they try to annoy you to make the broadcast of this online game even more exciting.
This Phase is only played if the identity of the Énderflan has already been revealed. Otherwise, go directly to the 3rd Phase.
Once the identity of the Énderflan has been revealed, the 2nd Phase: Random Event must be played in every round of the game.
Whoever has the Turn marker spins the Random Events wheel and all Players who are still alive (see Special Roles) must make a Defense Roll, with the dice indicated on their Armor card, to defend themselves from the Event that came up on the wheel.
To avoid a Random Event you must roll at least 1 shield in your roll, or you can also use 1 Power card with the "shield Total" effect. If you fail to defend yourself, you suffer the effect of the Event.
During this phase, Power cards cannot be played, except those with the "shield Total" and "+1 heart" effects.
Once the Event is resolved, move on to the 3rd Phase of the round.
ROUND 3 (3rd Round): if at the start of round 3 of the game the Énderflan and the Witch, if there is one, have not yet revealed their identity, they will have to reveal their Hidden Role card at that moment (see Special Roles).
"Omnipotent Trolls"
If this Event comes up on the wheel but there are no Trolls in the game yet, ignore this effect and spin the wheel again until something else comes up.
If there are Trolls and this Event comes up, there is no need to roll the dice for Defense, since it has no direct effect. Instead, at any moment of the PvP Phase (3rd Phase), each Troll can play one of the cards in their hand and activate it automatically, without needing to roll the die (see Trolls). This Event lasts until the end of the PvP Phase of the current round.
Re-Rolls Galore
When rolling the dice, you can get Re-Roll tokens. You gain 1 token each time you roll the Re-Roll face on one of your dice; take 1 Re-Roll token from the supply and roll the die again.
You can have a maximum of 2 Re-Roll tokens. Spend one of your tokens to re-roll a die of your choice from your own roll or someone else's. However, you cannot use them for the Money rolls in the 1st Phase, nor for the Trolls' rolls (see Trolls).
Once it has revealed its identity, the Énderflan can NOT gain these tokens, but it does re-roll the die if it gets this result on a Player die.
3rd Phase: PvP - Player versus Player
Things heat up; the time has come to hand out slaps left and right!
In this phase, in turns, Players fight by making dice rolls.
At the start of your turn, begin by declaring whom you want to attack. You can only make 1 Attack per turn and round, unless you use some effect of Powers and/or Enchantments. You need to have a Weapon equipped in order to attack. You can also use other effects, such as Re-Roll tokens, Powers, etc.
Attack Roll
Roll as many dice as your Weapon indicates. If you roll 1 fist in your Attack Roll, the attack is considered successful. Your target loses 1 Life.
If your target has an Armor equipped, they can make a Defense Roll, to avoid losing Lives.
Defense Roll
Roll as many dice as your Armor indicates. If you roll 1 shield in your Defense roll, you successfully protect yourself from the attack and nothing happens. Otherwise, you lose 1 Life.
2 fists in your Attack Roll: your target must defend against each result. 2 shields = you lose no Life; 1 shield = -1 Life; 0 shields = -2 Lives.
If your attack is successful and you manage to take at least 1 Life from your target, you gain 1 Énderflan Eye. If you get 3 Énderflan Eyes, your Final Boss Portal opens (see Énderflan Eyes and Final Boss Portal).
Once everyone has played their turn, the round ends and a new round begins. Whoever has the Turn marker passes it to the person seated on their right, who will play first in each Phase of the new round. Also, in the first rounds, advance the Round marker 1 position on the wheel, to remind when the identity of the Énderflan must be revealed.
Death of 1 Player
If you kill someone, whether through a successful Attack or a Power, you may Loot that Player. When Looting, choose:
- Take one of their cards (Weapon, Armor or Power).
- Take all their Re-Roll tokens.
- Take all their money.
As soon as 1 Player dies (loses their last Life), they become a Troll (see Trolls). After the Looting, they immediately lose the rest of their possessions and draw 2 cards from the Troll deck.
If the Énderflan dies, it does not become a Troll, since the game ends at that moment.
Special Roles
Énderflan and the Witch
The Énderflan and its ally the Witch (games of 5-6 Players) form a team, so if one of these Roles wins, the other also wins.
Card text, Énderflan: "Kill everyone else, or a Final Boss." Card text, Witch: "Your ally is the ÉNDERFLAN. Kill everyone else, or a Final Boss."
The Énderflan must reveal its identity if it is left with 1 Life. At that moment, the Witch (if there is one) must also reveal her identity. Remember that if at the start of round 3 the Énderflan and the Witch have not yet revealed their identity, they must do so at that moment.
As soon as its identity is revealed, the Énderflan takes Life tokens until it has 3, discards its Re-Roll tokens and adds its (black) Attack and Defense Dice to its pool of Player dice.
If the Énderflan loses its last 2 lives without having revealed its identity (for example, as a result of a Double Attack), it reveals its identity at that moment and follows the steps described in the previous paragraph.
The Énderflan can use its now 4 dice flexibly, combining them depending on the equipment it has. E.g.: if it attacks with a Weapon of value 1, it would roll only its Attack die, but if it has a higher-value Weapon with a two-dice roll, it would roll the black Attack die plus one of its Player dice.
The Énderflan can attack the Witch, but not the other way around. Apart from that, the Witch plays like any other Player, but wins or loses together with the Énderflan.
Death of the Witch and the Énderflan
If the Énderflan dies, the game ends.
If the Witch dies, she becomes a Troll and can no longer win the game, which continues normally. But, depending on how she dies, it may affect the Énderflan's dice pool:
- If she dies at the hands of 1 Character when the Énderflan has already revealed its identity, the Énderflan loses its Defense Die, so it will only use its normal Player dice when defending.
- If she dies at the hands of the Énderflan, from an Event during the 2nd Phase, or as a result of a card from the Troll deck, the Énderflan does not lose its Defense Die.
Trolls
If you become a Troll, you cannot win the game or come back to life, but you can sow chaos by playing 1 of your Troll cards during the 3rd Phase (PvP).
You can play your card at any moment of the 3rd Phase. To activate your card, you must roll 1 of the Player dice you used while alive and roll at least 1 fist. If your roll is unsuccessful, another Troll can support your attempt by rolling 1 of their dice and, if they roll 1 fist, the effect of your card is activated.
If the Special Event "Omnipotent Trolls" came up in the 2nd Phase of the current round, it is not necessary to roll the die (see 2nd Phase: Random Event).
If you roll a Re-Roll result on the die when you are a Troll, you do not gain Re-Roll tokens or re-roll the die; simply ignore the result.
Énderflan Eyes and Final Boss Portal
At the moment someone obtains their third Énderflan Eye, their Final Boss Portal opens. When your portal opens, at that moment you must mandatorily face a random Final Boss using your Weapon and your Power cards.
The third and last Énderflan Eye can only be won as the result of a successful attack; it cannot be stolen or bought in the 1st Phase (Looteo).
Once your Final Boss Portal is open, you will have it open forever, even if you lose your Énderflan Eyes. This gives you the possibility of facing a Final Boss again instead of attacking 1 Player during your turn in the 3rd Phase (PvP).
During the fight with a Final Boss, the rest of the Players can use Powers or Re-Rolls to try to prevent you from winning the fight. In the case of the Énderflan and the Witch, they can also do so to help each other and win the fight.
You do NOT gain Eyes:
- By taking Lives with Power cards. For example "-1 heart".
- By taking Lives when counterattacking with the Diamond Armor.
You can gain 1 Eye:
- By inflicting damage with a successful attack, you gain 1 Eye. If your Weapon has the Enchantment "fist x2" equipped, or some other card allows you to make 2 attacks in the same turn and you succeed, you gain 2 Eyes.
- By counterattacking successfully if you have an Enchantment that allows it.
- By making an Immediate fist attack with the Bow Power card.
- By buying it for 4 coins in the 1st Phase: Looteo. You cannot get the 3rd Eye this way.
- By playing Powers that let you steal an Eye from 1 Player. You cannot get the 3rd Eye this way.
End of the Game
The game ends when one of these cases occurs:
- Someone achieves 3 Énderflan Eyes and defeats a Final Boss. If it is 1 Character, that Character wins the game. If it is the Énderflan or the Witch, the team wins the game.
- All the Characters die and the Énderflan is still alive. The Énderflan and the Witch win the game.
- The Énderflan dies at the hands of 1 Character. That Character wins the game (no one else wins, even if someone helped the Character in their attack).
If everyone dies in the same turn or if the Énderflan does not die at the hands of 1 Character, move on to Sudden Death.
Remember: the Énderflan does not lose the game because the Witch dies, but if the Witch dies at the hands of 1 Character, the Énderflan loses its Defense Die, which weakens it considerably.
Sudden Death
If the Énderflan dies for any reason and you are the only Character alive, you win the game, even if the Witch is still alive.
If the Énderflan dies in the 2nd Phase, or if everyone dies at the same time from an Event of the 2nd Phase, or from any other card, SUDDEN DEATH begins: each Player who was still alive before this happened rolls their Player dice, as many as the Lives they have at that moment. WHOEVER rolls the most fists in that roll WINS THE GAME. Re-Roll results are ignored. In case of a tie, those who tied roll their dice again, and so on until there is only 1 winner. If the Witch wins, the Énderflan also wins the game and vice versa.
1vs1 Mode
- This is a 1 against 1 mode with no Hidden Roles. It is not necessary to deal those cards.
- Only the 1st Phase (Looteo) and the 3rd (PvP) are played, but not the 2nd (Random Event).
- In the first round, each Player has 4 coins. In following rounds, they roll the Money die as usual.
- You can have up to 3 Power cards.
- In this mode the Énderflan's black dice are not used.
Final Bosses
After facing a Final Boss, discard its card if you fail to defeat it.
- Huesitos (Little Bones): 1 Life and it does not defend. You win if you roll 1 fist in your attack.
- Invocador (Summoner): 1 Life, it does not defend. You cannot use Weapon Enchantments.
- Fantasma Cabezón (Blockhead Ghost): 1 Life and it does not defend. Re-Rolls cannot be used against it, but they can be used against its opponent.
- Aldeano Zombie (Local Zombie): 1 Life and it rolls a Player die to defend itself. Any Player makes this defense roll.
- Dragón (Dragon): 2 Lives. You need a Weapon that lets you roll 2 dice to roll 2 fists, or use Power cards to complement your attack (e.g.: card "-1 heart").
- Malagocha: You lose your coins. 1 Life and it rolls a Player die to defend itself. This Defense Roll can NOT be altered with Re-Rolls. Any Player makes this roll.
Power Deck
You can buy Power cards in the 1st Phase (Looteo). Powers CAN ONLY BE USED IN THE 3rd PHASE (PvP), except the "shield Total" and "+1 heart" effects, which can also be used in the 2nd Phase.
You cannot have more than 2 Powers in your hand (3 if you are the Énderflan and have already revealed your identity). If you already have the maximum and you get new Power cards, discard the ones you want to respect your hand limit. Do not hesitate to play these cards as soon as you can, since it is easy to get new ones in the Looteo Phase.
When playing a Power, immediately apply the effect described on the card for yourself or another Player, as indicated. Some Power cards let you cancel the effect of other cards; play the cards at the same moment you want to perform/cancel an effect.
List of Power Cards
- +1 heart: You gain 1 Life, yourself or 1 Player of your choice. You can play this card at the moment someone loses their last life to prevent their death. You cannot have more than 3 Lives under any circumstances. (Card: "Recover 1 heart".)
- shield TOTAL: This card completely protects you against any unfavorable effect: losing 1 Life (or several at once), losing your Weapon, Armor, Énderflan Eyes, Re-Rolls, etc., whether through someone's attack, the use of a card, or the Random Event phase. You can also play it after failing a Defense Roll or to protect other people.
- fist = -2 heart: Play this card after a successful attack, your own or someone else's, so that the target loses 2 Lives instead of 1. If in an attack with 2 dice 2 fists come up, by playing this card the target loses 3 hearts. This card can make you lose your last Life.
- Steal 1 EYE from 1 Player: Steal 1 Énderflan Eye from 1 Player of your choice. If you already have 2 Eyes in your possession, discard the stolen Eye. Remember that if your target already has the portal open, they can keep facing a Final Boss in the PvP Phase despite having fewer than 3 Eyes.
- Avoid the theft of 1 EYE: You avoid the theft of your Énderflan Eye. This card is only used to counter the "Steal 1 Eye" card described above.
- Instant fist with 1 (bow): Attack 1 Player of your choice with a single die, whenever you want during the PvP Phase, even if you have already attacked that round.
- Draw 2 (Powers): Draw 2 Power cards from the deck. If doing so exceeds your hand limit, discard the excess cards immediately.
- Steal 1 Weapon (+ Enchantment) from 1 Player: Steal 1 Weapon, with Enchantment if it has one, from 1 Player of your choice. Equip what you have stolen immediately.
Troll Deck
These cards are exclusive to Trolls and require rolling 1 fist on a die roll to take effect (see Trolls).
Troll cards are played against 1 living Player, who directly suffers the effect described on the card. If the card affects more than 1 Player, it will be indicated on the card itself.
List of Troll Deck Cards
- Not gonna happen: Cancels any action that 1 living Player has just done; their card or Roll is considered lost, with no option to use Re-Rolls.
- Roll just 1 die: The target rolls 1 die fewer in their next roll. This only affects Players who roll 2 dice; you cannot roll fewer than 1 die. If the target is the Énderflan, it will also have to roll its Player die instead of one of its black dice.
- Everyone loses their Re-Rolls: Everyone loses all their Re-Roll tokens.
- Your turn is stolen: The Troll who played this card chooses 1 Player and plays their entire turn in their place, with their cards, Re-Rolls and dice. If your target is NOT playing their turn at that moment, you possess them to resolve the specific situation that is happening at that moment.
- TNT (-1 heart to the target and the Players next to them): The target of this card and the people next to them lose 1 life. Each Player can defend against this card with a successful Defense Roll (= 1 shield) or by playing the "shield Total" card.
Weapons and Armor Deck
You cannot have more than 1 Weapon, 1 Armor, or more than 1 Enchantment on each of them. If you change or lose the Weapon or Armor, you also lose the Enchantment associated with that card. You can discard the Enchantment of a Weapon or Armor to put another one on it.
List of Special Weapons and Armor and Enchantments
- Hoe (2): Roll 1 die to attack and you may re-roll it, if you want. If the attack is successful (the target loses some life), steal 1 random Power card from your target's hand. (Card: "Successful: Steal 1 Power card from your target.")
- Enchantment (3): fist x 2. You can make 2 attacks in your turn, against the same or different targets. Both attacks are independent; make an Attack Roll for each one.
- Enchantment (3): Re-roll 1 die of your choice from your Attack Roll.
- Diamond Armor (3): Roll 2 dice to defend. If you roll 2 shields in the Defense Roll, you take one Life from the attacker (you can use Re-Rolls normally). You do not gain Énderflan Eyes for this action. (Card: "Attacker -1 heart"; "Counterattack with your Weapon" appears on other cards of this type; "2 shields at the same time".)
- Enchantment (3): Counterattack. Make a counterattack with your Weapon after receiving an attack from any source. A counterattack of a counterattack cannot be made. If you take Life with this action, you gain 1 Énderflan Eye.
- Axe (3): Roll 1 die to attack and you may re-roll it, if you want. With a single Attack Roll, attack 2 Players at once, who must defend separately. If you play the card "fist = -2 heart", the effect applies to 1 of the targets of your choice, provided the attack was successful. When making an attack with this Weapon, you only gain 1 Énderflan Eye even if you damage both targets, unless the effect of some other card allows you to.
Dice of Weapons and Armor
- One die icon: Roll 1 die.
- One die plus Re-Roll icon: Roll 1 die and make 1 Re-Roll (you may re-roll it 1 time).
- Two dice icons: Roll 2 dice.
- Two dice plus Re-Roll icon: Roll 2 dice and make 1 Re-Roll (you may re-roll 1 die of your choice from your roll 1 time).
