Aim of the Game

Be the first to capture ten meteors and move your spaceman to the top of the score track.

Setting Up the Game

Before you start playing, build the game using the LEGO® building instructions provided in the set. Building the game teaches you more about the pieces and how you can use them. This makes it easier to rebuild or change the rules of your game later on.

Build the LEGO Dice using the colored sides shown below.

[The rulebook shows the coloured sides of the LEGO Dice as a picture. The picture is not transcribed here.]

This set includes a tool to help you take tiles off the LEGO Dice.

Each player chooses a color and takes all the satellites of that color.

Tip: the LEGO tilt. The best way to pick up your LEGO pieces is by tilting them before you pick them up.

The board diagram in the rulebook labels these parts: drop point, high beacon, middle beacon, low beacon, laser, moon base, meteor, space station, score track, spaceman, satellite and LEGO Dice.

Playing the Game

The youngest player starts. Players then take alternate turns.

On your turn roll the LEGO® Dice and carry out the action you rolled.

Launch a Satellite

Place one of your own satellites on any empty space on the board between the high and low beacons. Try to position your satellites so that meteors will be captured in your moon base when they drop.

If all your satellites are on the board, you may move one of them to a new position.

Meteor Strike

Take a meteor from beside the board and drop it from any of the three drop points at the top of the board. If a meteor knocks a satellite over, take it off the board.

If all meteors are stuck, remove all of them and place them next to the board.

Space Station

A. Move a space station to any empty space on the board between the high and middle beacons, OR

B. Rotate a space station freely around its axis.

Try to position the space station so that meteors will be captured in your moon base when they drop. You cannot move a space station if it has a meteor stuck on it, but you can rotate it.

Laser Blast

Blast any one satellite. Remove it from the board and return it to its owner. It can be used again later on. You may choose not to blast any satellite.

You may not blast a space station.

Capturing Meteors

When a meteor is captured in your moon base, move your spaceman one step forward on the score track. Then remove the meteor from the moon base and place it next to the board.

Winning the Game

The player whose spaceman reaches the top of the score track first wins the game.

Changing the Game

LEGO® Games are made to be changed. You can rebuild the game or the LEGO Dice, change the pieces or even the rules! Every little change makes it more and more YOUR GAME.

The secret to changing a game is to only change one thing at a time. If you like the change keep it, if not try another. Get started by trying these suggestions, but remember to make sure everyone knows all the rules before you start playing.

Meteor Shower

Replace one of the meteor tiles on the LEGO Dice with a 'launch a satellite' tile. When you roll 'Meteor strike', you take three meteors and drop one in each drop point at the top of the board.

Changing the Odds

On your turn before you roll, you may rebuild the LEGO Dice by exchanging one tile with one of the extra tiles, e.g. to increase your odds of rolling a meteor.

Meteor Bombardment

In this version of the game, the aim is to deflect the meteors so they do not hit your moon base. Each turn, carry out the action shown on the LEGO Dice - AND drop a meteor. Place your spaceman at the top of the score track and keep score by moving him down the score track every time your moon base is hit by a meteor.

When your moon base has been hit ten times, it is destroyed - and you lose.
