Does 'turn to face any direction' allow keeping my current facing, and which way does a 90-degree turn go?
Several players agree, and the rulebook says Turns can go either way and Moves keep facing.

Yes to both: a free Turn card may leave you facing the same way, and a plain 90-degree turn can go either direction. Moving never changes your facing.
