Where does the towed Mech or Bomb end up, and does it always sit directly behind me?

It goes into the space your Mech just left, not necessarily directly behind you — after a sideways step it ends up beside the path. The Mission 1 dossier says 'directly behind', but the designers say the field guide's wording (the space just left) is the correct one. The towed object does not turn; both Mechs keep their facing.
