Scarlet Witch

Special Setup

Set aside the Possessed by Chthon Master Plan card and place it on top of the deck after shuffling it. Set aside 3 cards with Special Effects from the deck of each Hero in play.

Scarlet Witch Villain Dashboard

Starting tokens (Super Villain): Heroes' starting tokens are a green-arrow token, a yellow-star token, a red-burst token and a card token (the icons are printed without names on the dashboard).

Number of Heroes table (printed):

  • 2 Heroes: 2
  • 3 Heroes: 2
  • 4 Heroes: 2

The dashboard prints the number beside each Hero count but does not label what the value represents; it is reproduced as printed.

Special Rules:

  • Heroes can also damage Scarlet Witch using the yellow-star (Special Effect) icon.
  • Each time a Mission is completed, each player may put one of their set aside Hero cards on top of their deck.
  • Each time a Hero is KO'd, Scarlet Witch doesn't activate her BAM! Instead, remove the top card of the Master Plan deck from the game.

BAM!

  • Add 1 Crisis token to the Darkhold Page Threats in Scarlet Witch's and both adjacent Locations.
  • Each Hero in Scarlet Witch's and both adjacent Locations must discard 1 card from their hand.

Overflow: If 1 or more blue-person / red-person tokens can't be added to a Location, add 1 Crisis token to the Threat there. If there is no Threat there, add it to the first clockwise Threat.

Villainous Plot: The Heroes lose when there are no more Threats in play.

Scarlet Witch Master Plan and Threat Cards

The scan does not label which of these cards belong to the Master Plan deck and which to the threat deck, so they are listed together in the order printed.

Possessed by Chthon (set aside as the top Master Plan card in Special Setup)

  • As long as this card is faceup in the Storyline, Heroes can't interact with Threats in any way.

Growing Power

  • Add 1 Crisis token to each Threat with no Crisis tokens.

Broodlings of Chthon

  • Deal 1 damage to each Hero anywhere.

Darkholders

  • Deal 1 damage to each Hero in Locations with 1 or more red-person tokens.

Reality Warping

  • Each Hero must turn their earliest Hero card in the Storyline with a Special Effect facedown.

Bending Will

  • Until the next Villain turn, Heroes can't enter Scarlet Witch's Location.

Conjuring Darkforce

  • Each Hero in Scarlet Witch's and both adjacent Locations must discard 1 card from their hand. Scarlet Witch gains 1 Health for each of these cards (may go above starting value).

The scan shows five further Scarlet Witch cards (values 4, 5, 3, 2 and 1) with artwork but no readable rules text. They are not transcribed; see Gaps.

Darkhold Page Threat

Threat: Darkhold Page

  • When this has 3 Crisis tokens on it, it is cleared and Scarlet Witch gains 2 Health (may go above starting value). Put 1 Threat token on the Clear Threats Mission (for both Teams in Team vs Team mode).

The scan shows one Darkhold Page card. It is transcribed as the only copy in the source.

Agatha Harkness

Special Setup

Place the Witch Trial Mission within reach of all the players. Place all Rune Threat cards on their A side. Set aside the Witch Hunt Begins Master Plan card and place it on top of the deck after shuffling it.

Agatha Harkness Villain Dashboard

Starting tokens (Super Villain): Heroes' starting tokens are two green-arrow tokens and two yellow-star tokens.

Number of Heroes table (printed):

  • 2 Heroes: 2
  • 3 Heroes: 2
  • 4 Heroes: 2

The dashboard prints the number beside each Hero count but does not label what the value represents; it is reproduced as printed.

Special Rules:

  • When Agatha Harkness becomes Under Pressure, flip all Rune Threat cards to their B side.
  • For each damage Agatha Harkness is dealt, check the Witch Trial Mission. If there are 7 or more blue-person tokens there, remove 1 blue-person token from that card instead of removing 1 of her Health tokens.
  • Each time a Hero is KO'd, Agatha Harkness doesn't activate her BAM! Instead, add 1 blue-person token from the pool to the Witch Trial Mission.

BAM!

  • Move 1 blue-person token from Agatha Harkness' Location and each Location adjacent to it to the Witch Trial Mission.
  • Activate the Rune Threats with symbols matching those on the Master Plan card.

Overflow: If 1 or more blue-person / red-person tokens can't be added to a Location, add 1 blue-person token from the pool to the Witch Trial Mission.

Villainous Plot: The Heroes lose when the Witch Trial Mission is complete.

Agatha Harkness Master Plan and Threat Cards

The scan does not label which of these cards belong to the Master Plan deck and which to the threat deck, so they are listed together in the order printed.

Witch Hunt Begins (set aside as the top Master Plan card in Special Setup)

  • Add 1 red-person token and 1 blue-person token to every Location.

It Was Her All Along

  • Turn all red-person tokens in play into blue-person tokens.

Ebony

  • In Agatha Harkness' and the opposite Location: Deal 1 damage to each Hero there and move 1 blue-person token there to the Witch Trial Mission.

The scan shows nine further numbered Agatha Harkness cards (values 5, 5, 4, 4, 2, 2, 1, 1 and 0) that carry rune symbols and no printed text of their own. Their effects come from the Rune Threat cards below; the scan does not show which numbered card carries which rune. See Gaps.

Rune Threat Cards

Each Rune Threat card has an A side, tagged Can't be cleared, and a B side, tagged with the letter B. Place all Rune Threat cards on their A side in Special Setup. When Agatha Harkness becomes Under Pressure, flip all Rune Threat cards to their B side.

Probability Rune

  • A side (Can't be cleared): When this Rune is activated: If Agatha Harkness is in a Location with no Heroes, accelerate the next Villain turn by 1.
  • B side: When this Rune is activated: Each Hero must reveal the top card of their deck. If it has 2 symbols at the bottom or a Special Effect, they must put it at the bottom of their deck.

Charm Rune

  • A side (Can't be cleared): When this Rune is activated: If Agatha Harkness is in a Location with no Heroes, place 1 blue-person token from the pool in the Witch Trial Mission.
  • B side: When this Rune is activated: Each Hero must discard 1 card with Special Effects from their hand, if any, to the bottom of their deck.

Hypnotic Rune

  • A side (Can't be cleared): When this Rune is activated: Until the beginning of the next Villain turn, Heroes must play their Hero card randomly.
  • B side: When this Rune is activated: Until the beginning of the next Villain turn, Heroes can't use the symbols at the bottom of the previous Hero card in the Storyline.

Energy Rune

  • A side (Can't be cleared): When this Rune is activated: Deal 1 damage to each Hero anywhere.
  • B side: When this Rune is activated: Deal 2 damage to 1 Hero in Agatha Harkness' and in each adjacent Location. Then, move these Heroes 1 Location away from her.

Weakening Rune

  • A side (Can't be cleared): When this Rune is activated: Until the beginning of the next Villain turn, Heroes treat Special Effects on their Hero cards as blank.
  • B side: When this Rune is activated: Until the beginning of the next Villain turn, Heroes must ignore 1 green-arrow action in their turn.

Warding Rune

  • A side (Can't be cleared): When this Rune is activated: Until the beginning of the next Villain turn, each blue-person token requires 1 extra yellow-star icon to be rescued.
  • B side: When this Rune is activated: Until the beginning of the next Villain turn, when a Hero enters Agatha Harkness' Location, she immediately moves clockwise to the next Location.

The Rune A-side reads "Can't be cleared" in a vertical tab; the B side has no such tag. The Warding Rune A-side icon before "to be rescued" is the yellow-star icon and is read from a 300 dpi crop of the scan.

Darkhold Equipment

Darkhold (Agatha Harkness equipment)

  • USE on your turn: Reveal the top card of any deck. Then, turn this facedown.

Agatha Harkness Hero Deck

Each card lists its printed cost icons after the text. The icons are named by appearance: green-arrow action, yellow-star icon, red-person icon, blue-person icon.

  • Magical Protection (green-arrow, yellow-star): As long as this card is faceup in the Storyline, you can't be forced to play your card randomly.
  • Pyrokinesis (yellow-star): [red-person icon] in each adjacent Location.
  • Hydrokinesis (yellow-star): Move a Villain, Hero, or Water token anywhere to a Location adjacent to them.
  • Force Field (green-arrow, yellow-star): During the next Villain turn, Heroes in your Location can't take any damage.
  • Dimensional Manipulation (yellow-star): If you're not in the Villain's starting Location, replace your Location with any other not in-play Location [move everything from your Location to the new one].
  • Ebony (yellow-star): [red-person icon] against up to 2 different targets in an adjacent Location.
  • Aerokinesis (green-arrow): Relocate or discard a total of up to 3 blue-person and/or red-person icons between your and adjacent Locations.
  • Binding (green-arrow, yellow-star): A Villain in your Location has their Movement set to 0 on the next Villain turn.
  • Electrokinesis (green-arrow): Two red-person icons against a single target in an adjacent Location.
  • Purification (yellow-star): A Hero in your Location discards all the Crisis tokens they have.

Two further hero cards in the scan (the last two in the sheet) show artwork and cost icons but no printed title or rules text. They are not transcribed; see Gaps.

Gaps and Source Limits

Everything below is a disclosed gap, not a rule that was filled in from elsewhere.

  • Source format: the source is a set of card-face scans from a fan-compiled TTS mod, not an official rulebook. No official rulebook was found for this expansion.
  • Witch Trial Mission: the scan shows a blank slot board with no text, so no mission text is transcribed.
  • Scarlet Witch cards without text: five numbered cards (values 4, 5, 3, 2 and 1) show artwork but no readable rules text, so they are not transcribed. The Scarlet Witch threat and Master Plan decks may therefore be incomplete here.
  • Scarlet Witch Heroes' starting tokens: the dashboard shows four tokens with no printed names (a green-arrow token, a yellow-star token, a red-burst token and a card token). They are described by appearance only.
  • Scarlet Witch Darkhold Page: only one Darkhold Page threat card is in the scan.
  • Agatha Harkness numbered rune cards: nine numbered cards carry rune symbols (values 5, 5, 4, 4, 2, 2, 1, 1 and 0). The scan does not show which numbered card carries which rune, so the rune effects are transcribed by name only.
  • Agatha Harkness Master Plan versus threat decks: the scan does not label which cards belong to which deck; they are listed together in printed order.
  • Agatha Harkness hero deck: the sheet shows 12 cards, with the last two untitled and without text. The hero deck may be incomplete.
  • Alternate hero decks: the four alternate hero decks (Grey Hulk, Juggernaut, Mister Sinister, Deadpool X-Force) are not in this document and are not transcribed here.
  • Icon names: the token and action icons are named by colour and symbol (for example, blue-person, red-person, green-arrow, yellow-star) because the scans do not print their names. No icon was renamed from another game.
