Note on language: for readability only, the generic masculine is used throughout. It is intended to be gender-neutral.

Setup

Punch all parts out of the die-cut sheet. Push the five holes out of the game board. Assemble the board and place it in the middle of the table. Use the two boards to cover any two holes on the game board. Place the suspension bridge on one of the two damaged bridges on the board.

Attach the spinner arrow to the lucky wheel with the push button, as shown in the illustration. Place the lucky wheel beside the game board.

Each player chooses two rabbits of one colour and places them in front of the steps. With two or three players, the unused rabbits go back into the box. The youngest player begins, and play then continues clockwise.

The Race Begins

On your turn, spin the arrow on the lucky wheel. You may then carry out the action shown with one of your rabbits:

  • 2 or 3 spaces: Move one of your rabbits forward the number of spaces shown.
  • Board: Either move one of the boards onto another open hole, or move one of your rabbits forward one space. If there is a rabbit on each of the two boards, you must move one space.
  • Suspension bridge: Either move the suspension bridge onto the other damaged bridge on the game board, or move one of your rabbits forward one space.
  • Mole: Move any one rabbit of another player back one space.

Movement Rules

Only one rabbit may stand on a space at a time. Occupied spaces are not counted when moving.

Holes count as a space that you may pass over. However, if your move ends exactly on a hole, your rabbit falls into it and returns to the start. If a hole is covered by a board, you may stop on it.

If a suspension bridge lies on your path, you may take a shortcut. This also applies in reverse when you are pushed back by the mole. The suspension bridge is only a connection between two spaces; it does not count as a space.

End of the Game

The race is won by the player who first brings one of their rabbits directly onto the finish space at the carrot.
