New Family Tiles

Della Scala

Whenever you receive a Council Privilege, you can take any bonus except for Faith Points, but you receive 1 additional Faith Point.

In addition, you can exchange 1 Faith Point for 1 coin, 1 servant and 1 Military Point any number of times.

Visconti

Before the Family Tiles auction, draw 2 Leader Cards and place them faceup next to this tile. If you take this Family Tile, take the 2 Leader Cards and the 5 Visconti tokens (put the tokens in front of you on the non-active side).

Whenever you play a Leader Card, activate a token (flip it on the side with a "check" symbol) of your choosing and receive its bonus. You also receive the bonus of all the tokens you have already activated.

Note: if you play more than 5 Leader Cards, activate all the tokens when you play them.

Visconti tokens

The five Visconti tokens carry these bonuses (icons only on the tokens):

• Token 1: 1 wood and 1 Victory Point.
• Token 2: 1 stone and 1 Victory Point.
• Token 3: 1 Faith Point.
• Token 4: 1 Military Point and 1 servant.
• Token 5: 2 coins.

Transcription Notes

• The rulebook page prints the Visconti tile text and the Della Scala text in full. Only the five token bonuses were read from an image, because the page shows them as icons.
• The token bonuses were read from the promo tile scan (BGG image 6364786). The icons are: token 1, a wood log with a "1" beside a Victory Point token marked "1"; token 2, a grey stone block with a "1" beside a Victory Point token marked "1"; token 3, a red Faith cross with a "1"; token 4, a Military shield with a "1" beside a servant figure with a "1"; token 5, a stack of coins with a "2". The readings match the BGG description of the promo.
• The rulebook text for the Visconti tile uses the word "flip" for turning a token over. The page shows this word split across a line break in the PDF text layer; the wording here is taken from the printed page image.
• The four "New Leaders" cards (Raffaello Sanzio, Carlo VIII, Niccolò Machiavelli, Jacopo Salviati) on the same page belong to the base New Edition, not this promo, and are left out.
• The credits block on the page (designers, illustrators, editor, thanks) is left out.
