Determination Cards Rules
At the beginning of the game, when player chooses their Hero, they draw 3 Determination cards, choose 1, and shuffle the remaining cards back into the Determination deck. Each player will start the game with 1 Determination card (revealed), which they can use only once, using the rules described on their Determination card.
Determination Cards
Destiny
Use during your "Hero Attacks Monster" stage of the Hunt (and only if your Hero has no Injuries).
Deal any number of Injuries to your Hero to deal the same number of Wounds to the Monster.
After that remove this Determination card.
Thief
Use during your "Hero Attacks Monster" stage of the Hunt.
Discard all Combat cards to deal 1 Wound with an Artifact symbol. End the Hunt without consequences.
After that remove this Determination card.
Scars
Use during your "Hero Attacks Monster" stage of the Hunt.
End the Hunt. You receive the Glory Token in the color of the Land in which the Hunt took place.
After that remove this Determination card.
A Smile of Fate
Use during your Turn.
Choose 1 or 2 Monsters. These Monsters perform their Region Attacks.
After that remove this Determination card.
A Bit More
Use during your Turn.
Your Hero suffers 1 Injury. Remove 1 Used Action Token from your board.
After that remove this Determination card.
Terror
Use at any time.
Remove 5 of your Hoplites from any 1 Land and place them back in the pool. You receive the Glory Token in the color of that Land.
After that remove this Determination card.
Painful Surprise
Use before Battle starts.
Discard any number of Combat cards to kill a number of enemy Hoplites in the Region where the Battle is taking place equal to the number of Casualty Symbols on those cards.
After that remove this Determination card.
Abyss
Use before Battle starts.
Kill any number of your Hoplites to kill the same number of enemy Hoplites in the Region where the Battle is taking place.
After that remove this Determination card.
The Price of Blood
Use during your Turn.
Your Hero suffers 1 Injury. Charge 1 of your Artifacts.
After that remove this Determination card.
