Components
The Kickstarter Exclusive Pack contains:
- 1 Harpy Eagle (animeeple)
- 1 Black Jaguar (animeeple)
- 1 Unique Animal Card (Harpy Eagle)
- 1 Wooden End Game Bonus Token
Substitute Components
Black Jaguar
The Black Jaguar is a substitute component. The Black Jaguar can be used as a substitute for one of the Jaguar Animeeples included in the Base Game. The in-game abilities are not affected, as the Black Jaguar works exactly the same as a Base Game Jaguar.
Wooden End Game Bonus Token
The Wooden End Game Bonus Token is a substitute component. This token can be used as a replacement for the punch-board End Game Bonus Token.
Unique Animal Cards
Harpy Eagle
Card: "Must be on a Forest Habitat with at least 2 Trees. When placing a Small Animal, place a Seed on this card. If there is already a Seed on the card, collect that Seed. Once per turn."
Footnote on the card: " Seed on the card does not count toward the hold limit."*
- The Harpy Eagle is a Unique Animal. It is placed on a Forest Habitat with at least 2 Trees, under the Unique Placement Conditions described in the base game rulebook.
- Once the Harpy Eagle is in the Jungle, whenever a Player places a Small Animal, the Player places a Seed on the Harpy Eagle card. If there is already a Seed on the card, the Player collects that Seed.
- A Seed placed on the Harpy Eagle card does not count toward the hold limit.
- The ability can be used once per turn.
Transcription Notes
- The card's icons are not printed as words. The paw icon in the ability is rendered as "Small Animal", and the tree icon in the placement condition as "Trees". The hexagon icons at the top-left of the card (habitat/terrain) and the three small icons at the bottom-right of the card are not transcribed.
- The bottom-left corner of the card shows a red icon. In the base rulebook, a Unique Animal's bottom-left icon marks a Starting Seed, but the photo does not make this icon legible, so no Starting Seed rule is given here. Check the full-size card before relying on this.
