Orfen
Orfen, Wolf Warrior from the High Mountains, Rank 6.
- Storage space: Storage space for any quantity of gold and gemstones.
- Strength points: a track numbered 1 to 14.
- Willpower points: a track numbered 0 to 20, marked with dice icons: one die beside spaces 0 to 6, two dice beside spaces 7 to 13, and three dice beside spaces 14 to 20.
Special ability: In a battle, Orfen has strength points corresponding to at least the "tens" place of his current space number. So if he is on space 46, his strength points total would be at least 4. In a battle with a troll, these 4 points would be added to his strength points.
Marfa
Marfa, Wolf Warrior from the Mountains, Rank 6.
- Storage space: Coin purse for any amount of gold (as printed on the card).
- Strength points: a track numbered 1 to 14.
- Willpower points: a track numbered 0 to 20, with the same layout of dice icons as Orfen's card.
Special ability: When fighting, Marfa has at least as many strength points as the decade of the field number she is on. So on space 46 her minimum strength is 4. When fighting a troll, she gets these 4 points in addition to her strength points.
Note: the Marfa card in the photograph is partly obscured by the photo angle and the playing piece on it. The wording of the storage text and the first clause of the special ability is read from the photo and should be checked against the printed card.
Setup for the Hero Board
- Orfen and Marfa replace the dwarves Kram and Bait.
- The two heroes are played using the yellow-colored materials for these two heroes (plastic holder, 3 dice, 2 wooden disks, 1 wooden cube), as printed on the card.
Disclosed Gaps
- The hero board does not print what the willpower dice icons mean in play. The effect of the dice on the willpower track is defined by the base game's rules, which are not restated in this file.
- No separate instruction page was available, so there is no setup beyond the replacement described above, and no additional rules for battle, trolls or the rest of the game.
- The Marfa text is transcribed from a photograph and is less certain than the Orfen text, which was read from a scan of the card.
