Material
- 1 wooden board
- 2 long elastic bands
- 10 disks
- 6 score markers
- 1 sand timer
(The French text names the board itself "1 passe-trappe en bois massif" — one solid-wood passe-trappe.)
Setup
Each player places their five disks anywhere on their half of the playing surface board but not blocking the opening in the center.
Both players will play at the same time. To start the game clap hands with your opponent.
Goal of the Game
The goal of the game is to be the first player to slide all his disks through the opening into his opponent's half.
Shooting the Disks
To shoot the disks players slide their disks using the elastic band on their end of the board (see Fig. 1). A player may only play with one hand.
Valid and Invalid Disks
A disk must pass completely through the opening to count.
If a disk gets caught in the opening it cannot be retrieved until it has been pushed through to one side or the other by another disk.
If a disk passes over the central bar, it must be retrieved by the shooting player. (The French text is explicit that the shooter takes such a disk back — it returns to that player's own half.)
Winning the Game
As soon as a player has no disks left in their half, that player wins the round. (This sentence is carried over from the French, German and Dutch columns of the official sheet; the English column does not state it.)
The first player to win three matches wins.
Variant
Each match is played using the sand timer. When the time is up, the player with the least number of disks in his half wins. In the case of a tie, play a special sudden death match using only one disk each.

Note
If the game is too noisy, glue a pieces of felt to the side walls of the board.
Putting some sliding powder "Super Glisse" (available on www.ferti-games.com) on the playing surface will help the disks to slide better. (The German and Dutch columns suggest potato starch for the same purpose.)
