Object of the Game
Search for Disney Villains and Henchmen in the mysterious, ever-shifting labyrinth! Slide paths carefully and cleverly to reveal new paths or block opponents.
The first player to assemble their team and return to their starting space wins the game!
Setup
When playing for the first time, carefully punch out the path tiles and character cards.
Before each game:
- Shuffle the 34 path tiles face down and place them face up on the empty spaces of the game board to form a random maze of paths. There should be one path tile remaining. Lay it face up next to the game board and use it later in the game to replace tiles on the board.
- Shuffle the 24 character cards and divide them evenly among the players. Each player lays their character cards down in front of them on the table in a pile without looking at them.
- Each player chooses one of the four Villain playing pieces and places it on the board on its own colour in one of the four corners of the game board.
- Each player takes the player board matching their Villain playing piece and places it in front of them with the Villain icon face up.
Now you're ready to play!

How to Play
The last player to watch a Disney movie goes first, and play continues in a clockwise direction. When in doubt, the youngest player goes first.
Each player looks at their first character card without showing it to the other players. Look for the square on the board showing the same character. On your turn, shift the labyrinth, and then move your piece and try to reach the character.
A turn is always made up of two steps:
- Move the maze
- Move your Disney Villain playing piece
Important: You must move the maze before you can move your playing piece, even if you can get to the character you are looking for without moving the maze.
On your turn, try to move your Villain playing piece to the character on your card. First, insert the extra path tile and then move your piece on the board.
1. Moving the Maze
There are 12 arrows along the edge of the board. They indicate the rows where you can insert the path tile into the maze.
On your turn, insert the extra path tile into the game board at one of the arrows and push until another path tile falls off the board on the opposite side.
You cannot return the extra path tile to the same place it just fell from.
Note: To remember where the tile fell from, leave it where it is until the next player is ready to push it back onto the board at a new path.
If the path tile you push out has a playing piece on it, put this piece on the opposite side of the board on the path tile that was just placed. Moving this piece does not count as your turn!
2. Move Your Disney Villain Playing Piece
Once you have moved the maze, you can move your Villain playing piece. Your piece can land on any space it can move to along the path created.
You can leave your piece where it is or move it as far as you like. You may not move through walls, but you may pass through or land on a space with another player.
Once you find the character you are looking for, turn over your character card and lay it face up next to your card pile. Look at your next character card. On your next turn, find your way to this character on the game board.
Note: If you are unable to get to the character you are searching for, you can move your Villain playing piece into a position that gives you a good starting point for your next turn.
Now it's the next player's turn.
3. Use Your Special Ability (Optional)
Before moving your Villain playing piece, decide if you want to use your Disney Villain's special ability.
Note: You can use your special ability only once during the game! As soon as you have used your special ability, turn your player board face down to display the side without the Villain icon.
Ursula: You can cast a binding spell that allows you to move your Villain playing piece onto the same space as another Player.
Hades: You can remove the top character card from all players, shuffle the cards removed, and then deal them out again, redistributing the characters.
Maleficent: You can use a transformation spell to change into a dragon and fly, moving your playing piece to any space in the labyrinth.
Scar: You receive a boost of power that allows you to move the maze twice! Push your path tile into the maze, and then immediately push the new loose path tile into the maze at a location of your choice, before moving your playing piece.
Ending the Game
The game is over as soon as a player has turned over all their character cards and returned to their starting space on the board. This player has successfully located a team of Villains and Henchmen to help them escape the maze!
This player is the winner.
For Younger Children
Divide the character cards as usual. Then, lay all your character cards face up in front of you (so that the character is showing).
On your turn, try to reach any one of your characters on the board. If you do, turn over the corresponding character card. Once all your character cards have been turned over, return to the starting position to win the game.
