Setup

  1. Place the three 3+ player turn cards and the military card in a row in the center of the table. Randomize the Wax Seal tokens and place six of them in the spaces on the turn cards.
  2. Shuffle the Grand Figures cards and place one randomly above each of the turn cards
  3. Shuffle the Personage cards and deal 10 cards to each player. The rest of the cards form a deck face down above the military card.

Turns

  1. Each player drafts one card and places it face down in their Circle (3x3 grid) adjacent to another card if possible and pass their remaining cards to the left. When all players have chosen, all players flip over their cards.
  2. Immediate Effects (Lightning symbol) - In descending order of initiative on the revealed cards, players may choose to resolve their new card’s immediate effects, if any.
  3. At the end of turns 3, 6, and 9, players count the number of Wax Seals in their Circles that match the Wax Seal tokens on the Turn card. The player with the most matching wax seals exchanges one of their cards for the Grand Figure card. In case of a tie, no player takes the Grand Figure.

Game End

The game ends at the end of the ninth round. The player with the most Military wax seals gains 7 points. The player with the least loses 7 points. In case of a tie for most, tied players gain 3 points. In case of a tie for least, tied players lose 3 points.
