Components

  • 44 dice in four different colours and sizes:
    • 8 red
    • 10 blue
    • 12 yellow
    • 14 green
  • One seesaw made of natural (untreated) wood.

Setup

The players sit opposite each other and place the seesaw on the table between them (preferably without a tablecloth). All dice are divided evenly between the players. Each player receives 22 dice: 4 red, 5 blue, 6 yellow and 7 green. Determine in any way who begins the game.

Play

The players take turns. On your turn, place dice one at a time, as many as possible, on the raised side of the seesaw, either directly on the seesaw or on a die already lying there (see illustration).

Under no circumstances may you touch the seesaw or any dice already lying on it with your fingers!

After you have placed a die, one of the following situations may occur:

  1. Nothing happens. The player continues their turn. They must keep placing dice on the seesaw until the seesaw tips (see 2.) or dice fall off (see 3.).

  2. The seesaw tips. The player's turn ends. If any dice fell off when the seesaw tipped, the other player must take those dice into their supply. Afterwards, the other player takes their turn.

  3. Dice fall off the seesaw, but the seesaw itself stays level. In this case the player's turn also ends. Dice that fell off must be taken by the player into their own supply. Afterwards, the other player takes their turn.

End of the Game

The game ends immediately as soon as one of the players has been able to place their last die. That player, of course, has also won the game.
