New York City Defender

• Cost: 6 energy
• Type: KEEP

You can cancel a Destruction icon of a Monster in the same borough as you. For each Destruction icon canceled, take 1 damage and gain 1 Victory Point.

Notes

• The Destruction icon is the building symbol printed in the middle of the card's sentence. The card's own text uses it as the thing being canceled, and it is the same symbol as the Destruction result in the base game.
• The card's reward icon is the blue star, which in King of New York is the Victory Point icon. The card's cost is shown by the energy (lightning bolt) icon in the top corner.
• The card is a KEEP: once bought, it stays in front of the player and its effect remains available for the rest of the game.
• The card applies only to Monsters in the same borough as the player who holds it. Borough and Monster rules are those of the base game. Refer to the King of New York base rulebook for how boroughs, Monsters and Destruction work.
