Do Boats 1a and 1b give extra workers at the end of summer if I only just won them?
The Boat 1a and 1b texts say they apply at the end of summer.

Yes. The ability applies once you own the boat, so you take the extra workers when collecting boat contents at season end. 1a draws two from the bag; 1b takes one green worker.
