The Rules
Let the games begin! The rules of Kampf gegen das Bünzlitum are quite simple:
Setup
In the middle of the table, place a face-down deck of red cards and a face-down deck of white cards. Each scoundrel takes eight white cards and ideally also a drink / a beer. The most despicable player (the owner of the game decides) draws a red card and so takes on the role of round boss.
Basic Rules
The round boss reads their red card aloud. Each scoundrel then chooses from their hand the funniest and most incorrect answer and hands it face down to the round boss. If a question card has several gaps, the number of cards to choose (really?) equals the number of gaps.
The round boss then reads out all the answers received and picks their favourite. The winner receives the red card as a trophy to strut around with.
All players refill their hand so that each again has eight white cards. The next player clockwise becomes the new round boss, and the bitterly wicked fun begins again. Muhahaaaha!
Swapping Cards
Instead of handing a card face down to the round boss, a scoundrel may instead exchange all cards in their hand. If a hand is swapped, however, that scoundrel sits out this round.
Game Length
The scoundrels themselves decide how long the game lasts. Either a number of red cards (trophies) that the winner must reach is set, or a time limit is agreed. Ideally, you simply play until you are thrown out of the bar or all the beer is drunk.
Additional Drinking-Game Rule
In addition to the funniest answer, the round boss also picks the worst or most boring answer. The Lauch (a dull, uncool person) who played that card must take a sip / a shot.
