During SETUP, deal one of these cards to each player instead of the regular Empire cards.
Remember
Everyone must use the same side of the Empire cards. It is not possible to mix sides A, B, and C together.
Starting gems
You start the game with 5 gems. You can save them from Round to Round and use them whenever you want.
Production
However, your Empire card does not produce anything during the Production phases.
Use your gems wisely to construct your first Development cards!
Note
This side is harder to play than side B. Be sure to play several games with side B before using this card.
