What Is This?
This expansion brings reinforcements for many hostage-takers! The cards show which hostage-taker each one belongs to, and whether anything has to be observed when you add them to the game.
You recognise the cards of this expansion by the code D2 printed on them.
Components
Add each card to its matching hostage-taker. You do not need to observe anything beyond that, unless the sheet says otherwise. The 5 general cards can always be used with any hostage-taker. Simply shuffle them in with the corresponding cards.
The new components are:
- General cards: 4 new red Terror cards and 1 new Escape Demand.
- The Automa Cult: 1 new Major Demand and 1 new red Terror card.
- Migraine: 1 new Major Demand and 1 new red Terror card.
- Right in the Heart: 1 new Major Demand.
- Crime Wave: Josefina Hernandez: 2 new red Terror cards.
- Crime Wave: Joseph Dawn: 1 new Major Demand.
- Crime Wave: Liliana: 1 new red Terror card.
- Family Drama: 1 new red Terror card.
General Cards
The 5 general cards may always be used with any hostage-taker. Shuffle them into the matching cards.
Ich mag es, mit dir zu reden ... (I Like Talking to You ...) – Terror card
Shown on the sheet as one of the 4 new red Terror cards. The faces of the other three are not visible on the sheet and are not transcribed.
Choose 1:
- Threat Level +1 (dial icon)
OR
- Conversation Point icon +2: in the next Conversation Phase you cannot save hostages.
Es gibt kein Entkommen (There Is No Escape) – Escape Demand
"There is no escape for you ... it ends here and now!"
When revealed: Remove this card from the game immediately.
The Automa Cult (Der Automa-Kult)
Verschone wenigstens die Kinder (At Least Spare the Children) – Major Demand
While this card lies face up: ignore all effects and instructions that change the active hostage-taker!
Pay 4 Conversation Points to fulfil the demand.
One-time Benefit: Save 1 hostage (green figure icon).
Kinder des Kults (Children of the Cult) – Terror card
Immediately take the Major Demand Verschone wenigstens die Kinder and place it face up as an open demand. Place 1 new hostage IN CAPTIVITY. Kinder des Kults now becomes the active hostage-taker and remains so until you have fulfilled Verschone wenigstens die Kinder.
If Kinder des Kults is killed, you immediately lose the game.
Setup note: The new Major Demand may not be chosen at the start of the game. Shuffle the new Terror card Kinder des Kults together with your set of red Terror cards. The new Major Demand is also added to the game when you reveal Kinder des Kults.
Migraine (Migräne)
Was habe ich getan? (What Have I Done?) – Major Demand
Pay 4 Conversation Points when the Terror deck is empty.
On this Deception roll, for every 2 killed hostages (rounded down) you must reduce your die result by 1.

Mein Freund Samuel kann gerade nicht sprechen (My Friend Samuel Can't Talk Right Now) – Terror card
Shown on the sheet as 1 new red Terror card. Its icon marks it as a Migraine card.
In the next Conversation Phase: You may ignore the restriction from Migraine attack and fulfil 1 open demand if you additionally pay 1 Conversation Point. You then do not make a Deception roll and automatically receive Benefit 1.
Right in the Heart (Mitten ins Herz)
Ich will noch mehr Geiseln! (I Want More Hostages!) – Major Demand
Place 2 more hostages IN CAPTIVITY to fulfil this demand.
One-time Benefit: Discard 2 active Rival cards.
OR
Bring all cards with cost 0 back into the game and place them in the Available Area.
Crime Wave: Josefina Hernandez
The sheet states that these 2 red Terror cards are intended for a game against Josefina Hernandez.
Meine Gang hat hier das Sagen (My Gang Runs This Place) – Terror card
This card may only be used with Josefina Hernandez.
Roll 1 Conversation die and compare the result (the rolled number) with the table. Apply the matching effect:
- Dice 1–2: 2 new hostages.
- Dice 3–4: Threat Level +2 (dial icon). The die-4 tile also shows a small white two-pip symbol that the sheet does not explain, so it is not transcribed.
- Dice 5–6: Resolve the next red Terror card.
The caption lists 2 red Terror cards for Josefina Hernandez. The second card's face is not visible on the sheet, so only this card is transcribed.
Crime Wave: Joseph Dawn
Will meinen Vater sprechen (I Want to Speak to My Father) – Major Demand
Pay 12 Conversation Points in the Conversation Phase to fulfil the demand.
Roll all 5 dice once and add up the results:
- If the sum is 16 or more, you immediately save all hostages and capture Joseph Dawn directly. He surrenders.
- If the sum is 15 or less, this card stays face up. You may fulfil it again later and re-roll.
Crime Wave: Liliana
Wann soll ich das gesagt haben? (When Am I Supposed to Have Said That?) – Terror card
This card may only be used with Liliana.
Turn over all open demands (including Minor Demands). They are face down again, and you must reveal them again.
Family Drama (Familiendrama)
Sie ist einfach so reingegangen! (She Just Walked In!) – Terror card
Shown on the sheet as 1 new red Terror card.
You may immediately take all Sandra Conversation cards into your hand at no cost. If you do, then in the next Conversation Phase you may play only Sandra Conversation cards face up. You may still play other Conversation cards face down.
