Object of the Game
Slam the most hats!
Before You Begin
Spread the hat cards out on the table. Mix them around and be sure the cards are not overlapping. Each player chooses a colored slammer. Place the chips in a pile on the side of the table.
Playing the Game
Everyone plays at once. The youngest player rolls the 3 dice. Players now must compete to be first to find and slam the hat that matches what is shown on the 3 dice.
The Shape
There are 3 different possible hats: the top hat, the baseball cap and the sun hat.
The Color
There are 2 different colors: red or blue.
The Pattern
There are 6 different patterns.
Whoever finds the matching hat first slaps his/her slammer onto the card; the card will stick to the slammer and the player wins the card. All players check to be sure the card matches. If it does, the player takes a chip. The card is returned to the middle of the table. The dice are rolled again and the play continues.
Winning the Game
The first player to slam and capture 6 hats (collecting 6 chips) wins the game.
Variations of Play
For younger players, use only 2 dice so there are only 2 things to match.
