Components

  • One Hand cards: 78 cards (2 or 4 of each hand shape)
  • Two Hands cards: 12 cards (1 of each hand shape)

Setup

Shuffle all the cards well, place them face down in the middle of the table, and take cards according to the number of players:

  • 3-4 players: 5 cards each
  • 5-6 players: 4 cards each
  • 7-8 players: 3 cards each

Each player does not show their cards to the other players.

Goal of the Game

When you make the hand shape drawn on a One Hand card, you can score points by finding a player who makes the same hand shape. If another player makes a hand shape with two hand cards, all players must immediately follow that hand shape. The player who follows last loses points. The player who gets the most points wins.

Starting the Game

Before the game starts, one player counts down from 5 to 1. When the countdown ends, everyone shouts "Hands Up!" and the game begins. The game is played by all players at the same time. Each player follows the hand shape drawn on the cards they hold. A One Hand card must be made with one hand, and a Two Hands card must be made with two hands. Each player may follow only one card at a time.

Making a Pair (One Hand Shape)

When two players make the same hand shape, they show their One Hand cards to each other. If the hand shapes match, they form a pair, and each player places their card on their own scoring pile.

  • Each One Hand card in a scoring pile is worth +1 point during end-of-game scoring.
  • The two players who formed the pair each draw 1 new card from the draw pile in the middle of the table and continue the game.
  • If three players make the same hand shape at the same time, only the first two players to make it form a pair and score. The other players keep their card in their hand and continue looking for a pair.
  • The position of the player who copies your hand shape does not matter. Left or right are both fine.

Changing Your Hand Shape

If the hand shape you made is not followed by other players, you may select another card from your hand and make a new hand shape.

If you have two cards of the same hand shape in your hand, you may give one of those cards to another player. The player who receives the card may add it to their hand. Both players can now make pairs with their cards.

Making a Two Hands Shape

If someone makes a Two Hands shape, all other players must immediately follow that hand shape. The last player to follow adds their Two Hands card to their scoring pile, and receives -1 point during end-of-game scoring. The player who made the Two Hands shape draws 1 new card from the draw pile in the middle of the table.

If it cannot be determined who was the last to follow, the card stays in that player's hand and can be played again later in the game.

When a player makes a Two Hands shape, the other players cannot make a One Hand pair with another player, and cannot make another Two Hands gesture. If other players try to make a pair with another One Hand card or make another Two Hands gesture, they shout "No!" ("안 돼!").

Exchanging Cards

During the game, a player may at any time exchange cards in their hand with cards in the draw pile in the middle of the table. The player puts any cards they want from their hand at the bottom of the draw pile, then takes the same number of cards from the draw pile.

  • Cards in a scoring pile cannot be taken.

If a player has fewer cards in hand than the number they received at the start of the game, they may replenish as many cards as needed from the draw pile, as long as cards remain in the draw pile.

End of the Game

The game ends immediately when the draw pile in the middle of the table runs out and a player cannot draw the cards they need. Players shout "Hands Down!" ("핸즈 다운!") to end the game.

Scoring

Each player calculates their score from their own scoring pile:

  • Add 1 point for each One Hand card.
  • Subtract 1 point for each Two Hands card.

The player with the most points wins. If players are tied, the player with the fewest Two Hands cards wins. If the number of Two Hands cards is also the same, the tied players win together.

Scoring example: If a player has 13 One Hand cards and 8 Two Hands cards, the score is 13 points (One Hand cards) minus 8 points (Two Hands cards), for a total of 5 points.
