Components
- 40 Face cards
- 20 Mystery cards
- Mystery card: keep hidden from the other player.
Aim of the Game
Guess who is on the other player's Mystery card before they guess who is on yours.
Get Ready
- Give one set of Face cards to each player, blue or red.
- Lay your Face cards in a grid: 4x5 cards.
- Shuffle the Mystery cards and each player secretly takes a card.
- Keep your Mystery card secret during the game.
How to Play
Take turns to ask questions. The youngest player goes first.
- On your turn, ask a question that can be answered with a "yes" or "no." For example: "Does your Mystery Person have a hat?"
- If the answer is "yes", then you know you can get rid of all the people without hats. Look at the cards and turn over all the people WITHOUT hats.
- If the answer is "no", then you can get rid of all the people with hats. Look at the cards and turn over all the people WITH hats.
- Keep taking turns asking questions until someone thinks they can guess who is on the opposing player's Mystery card.
Guessing the Mystery Card
- Make your guess on your turn instead of asking a question. You cannot ask a question and guess on the same turn.
- If you guess wrong, you lose the game!
- If you guess right, you win the game!
The Winner
If you guess who is on the other player's Mystery card before they guess who is on yours, you win!
