48 category cards (emnekort), 4 letter dice (bokstavterninger) and a notepad.
The Game in Brief
Players must find words that fit the combination of a letter and a category. The more words you are alone in finding, the higher the score you get.
Preparation
Each player gets a score sheet (skjema) from the notepad and a pencil.
The category cards are placed on the table in one pile, face down. The letter dice are placed together with the cards.
How to Play
The first player rolls one letter die (any die, at their choice) and draws one category card.
All players write the result on their score sheet: the letter down the vertical column, the category across the horizontal row.
If the player rolls a blank face on the die, or draws a blank category card, the player must choose the letter or the category themselves.
All players write down the choice the player has made. The player may well choose a category that has already been used before.
Players continue taking turns rolling the die and drawing cards until the score sheet contains 5 letters and 5 categories.
Now the actual game begins.
Each player fills in the score sheet on their own with words that fit the combination of letter and category. The same word may be used several times. "Oslo" is, for example, correct as both a capital (hovedstad) and a town (by).
The players agree on a time limit for filling in the score sheet. When the time limit is over, the players take turns reading aloud, one at a time, their word in the box for 1st letter / 1st category.
The players note the points they score and continue in the same way with 2nd letter / 1st category. The 1st category is completed before the players begin on the 2nd category.

Winner
