Bernard (Bonus Ability)

You may include Bernard as a bonus ability when playing Genotype: A Mendelian Genetics Game.

During setup, place this card next to the University Action Space. Whenever a player takes the University Action, they take this card (from the University or another player) and place it in front of them.

During the Plant Breeding Phase, the player who currently has this card gains a single "3rd Shift" pick. After any 2nd Shift picks have been made, they may take any 1 Die like normal. Research Shift picks will then begin in normal player older.
