Tower Card

Each tower card shows, in its corners: the number of strength cards, the tower difficulty, the number of base cards, and the tower height. For example, a "3 de 6" tower card indicates a tower built with 3 base cards to a height of 6.

Game Setup

  1. Draw three random tower cards and arrange them from lowest to highest difficulty using the indicator in the top-right corner.

Alternatively, choose a pre-defined scenario from the Appendix: Events.

  2. Shuffle the helmet cards face down.

  3. Choose the difficulty level and take the indicated helmet cards and team leader cards. Leave the rest out of the game.

How to Play

The goal of the game is to build and dismantle three human towers.

Each tower has three phases:

  • Opening
  • Building
  • Dismantling

Opening

  1. Place the active tower card face up where everyone can see it.

  2. On top of it, place as many base cards as indicated on the tower card. Each base starts a column of strength cards above it.

Building

Look each other in the eye until someone dares to make the first move! Here we go!

From this point on, play your cards face down freely, with no turns, in any column you choose.

Use your intuition when placing strength cards: try to play the highest-value cards first and save the lower-value cards for the end.

Watch the others, read the situation, and choose the best moment to place each of your cards. But remember, you cannot speak to each other!

All columns must end with exactly the same number of cards.

Steady step: the first card placed on each base is placed face up.

Dismantling

Once all cards have been placed, the tower must be dismantled. In this phase, you may speak freely.

Reveal the top card of each column and place them in the descent pile, from lowest to highest. Repeat the process level by level.

If a revealed card is lower than the top card of the descent pile, the tower wobbles! Set the incorrect cards aside and flip one helmet card for each mistake.

If the tower has been successfully dismantled, proceed to the opening phase of the next tower.

Helmets

When the tower wobbles, flip a helmet card face up to prevent the tower from collapsing and avoid losing the game.

Each flipped helmet card grants a special ability that can be used during the building phase of the next tower. Once that tower has been played, discard it from the game.

Abilities

Call out strength: each time you play a card with the indicated value, you may say it out loud.

Team Leaders

The Team Leaders are watching! If you sense a wobble coming, you may use the team leader cards.

During the Dismantling phase, use them to remove cards from the top of the descent pile before revealing the next level, making the descent safer.

Remove from the game any team leader cards you use.

There are three types of team leader cards:

  • ×1 — Remove the top card from the descent pile.
  • ×2 — Remove the top two cards from the descent pile.
  • ×3 — Remove the top three cards from the descent pile.

End of the Game

Victory

If you successfully dismantled all three towers, your team has delivered a flawless performance.

Congratulations, you have won!

Defeat

If at any point you must flip a helmet card and there are none left, the tower collapses and the game ends immediately.

You have lost.

You can also combine three towers as you wish to create your own events!

  • Shuffle all the strength cards and deal them out one by one, face down, distributing the number of strength cards indicated on the tower card among the players. Set the remaining cards aside.

Do not worry if the distribution of cards is uneven.
