Object of the Game
The object of the game is to win more points than any other couple by successfully connecting more Funny Bones than your opponents.
Equipment
A deck of twenty-three gaily printed humorous cards.
The Play
Spread the cards on the floor face-down between the couples. Partners should stand side by side close to the cards. Play then proceeds either simultaneously or in rotation. The method of play should be decided upon beforehand.
When playing simultaneously, at the word "GO" one member of each team picks up a card from the floor.
When playing in rotation, determine which couple will start first and then proceed clockwise for subsequent turns. After picking a card the player(s), if possible, must return to an upright position.
Each couple then follows the instructions printed on their card by placing and holding the card between the bones indicated. For example: If the card reads, "Back Bone Connected to the Hand Bone," the person picking up the card places that card on his partner's back and holds it there with his hand until the end of the round.
The game proceeds in this manner until one couple has dropped two cards. At that time the round is over and each couple totals and records the point value on all of the cards they have successfully held between their bones.
Play continues for three rounds at which time points for three rounds are totaled and the couple with the most points is the winner of the game.
During any round each couple has the option of passing one of the cards they select to any other couple. The second couple is required to take the card and follow the directions indicated on the card. The careful use of this card in the latter stages of a round can make it impossible for your opponents to continue play.
The Funny Bone Joker Cards which do not direct specific action are used as wild cards and may be placed in the easiest positions.
