Object
Players must work together and get to round five by throwing the ball to each other and not letting it touch the ground.
Setup
Shuffle the deck of numbered cards and deal one out to each player, faceup. This is the order you'll be throwing the ball in. So player 1 throws to player 2, who throws to player 3, etc.
Place the deck of Challenge Cards in the middle and hand the ball to player 1.
Round one
This one's a piece of cake. All you have to do is throw the ball to each other without letting it hit the floor. The round ends once the ball has made its way around the group three times.
Round two
Gut-check time. Flip over a Challenge Card and read it out. This is going to give everyone a handicap for the round. For example:
In this round, everyone has to throw and catch like a dinosaur. If you manage to get the ball around the group another three times then congratulations - you've made it to round three. Flip over another Challenge Card and add it to the existing card. Now the group has two handicaps.
The example Challenge Card shown on the sheet reads: "OCCUPATION? DINOSAURS. Hold your elbows to your side (like a dinosaur) whenever you throw or catch the ball."
Dropping the ball
Your team has three lives. If the ball touches the ground at any point, you lose a life and start again at the beginning of that round. If you lose all three lives... it's game over.
Winning the game
You win the game by making it past round five with at least one life left. However, when there are four different Challenge Cards on the table, you'll find that this is a lot easier said than done.
"He's a dropper!" (hard version)
How do you make a game about throwing a ball and catching it harder? You play like Chandler.
In every round, players must re-deal the numbered cards, meaning that the order is always changing... but that's not all. Before dealing them out, replace the "Player One" card with the "Chandler" card.
As we all know, Chandler is a dropper. The player that receives this card may only use their non-dominant hand when throwing or catching. At the end of every round, re-shuffle the cards and deal them out once again.
