1 "Construction Crane Scoring" board 8 honorary citizens (2 per player color)
Set-Up
Put the "Construction Crane Scoring" board on the appropriate spot on the gameboard. Stack the honorary citizens of all players on the two storing spaces of the "Construction Crane Scoring" board.
Use in the Game
Every time you score for a construction crane, you get a bonus (in addition to the victory points):
Scoring for the 1st construction crane: You obtain your first honorary citizen (for usage, see below).
Scoring for the 2nd construction crane: You earn 2 points for each built-up space adjacent (horizontally or vertically) to the 4 construction cranes (no matter whether the construction cranes have already been scored or not).
Scoring for the 3rd construction crane: You may remove any number of scored construction cranes from your Colonia (and thus gain new building sites).
Scoring for the 4th construction crane: You obtain your second honorary citizen (for usage, see below).
Usage of the Honorary Citizens
When you obtain an honorary citizen, immediately place him either as a citizen in your Colonia or as an envoy on the Forum square:
a) as a citizen: Put the honorary citizen in any row on your board where there is no "normal" citizen lying yet. This activates the function of that row for the rest of the game. You don't have to pay for honorary citizens before the scorings. However, you are not allowed to also put a normal citizen in this row. So, to receive the multiplier 3 in this row, you would have to put the 2nd honorary citizen in this row as well later on.
b) as an envoy: Put the honorary citizen on any space (also on an eagle space) on the Forum square. If you complete a color area, you immediately receive the bonus.
