Elk
Left half of the card. Cost 3 (top-left box). Left/right split card.
Bonus (green binoculars arrow): when you pay for the Elk with matching cards, draw 1 card and take another turn after you complete this one. All cards you discard as payment must show the same tree symbol as the Elk (the green leaf in the top-right corner); see Bonus in the base rules.
Points: 2 points for each of the following in your forest: Tree Sapling (sapling icon), Douglas Fir (blue cone icon), Birch (green leaf icon).
The Elk's hoof-print and antler icons are printed on the card without rules text.
Troll
Right half of the card. Cost 1 (top-left box). Left/right split card.
Effect: Draw 1 card from each opponent's hand and put those cards in the clearing.
Points: 1 point for each Tree (white tree icon).
The Troll's paw icon is printed on the card without rules text.
Card Back
The back of the card is a plain illustration of a sapling with no text and no rules.
