The Card
The card is printed with the following elements:
- A number in a brown square at the top-left corner: 2, the card's cost.
- A tree-symbol tag at the top-right corner: a leaf icon in a green tag. This is the card's tree symbol, which determines its card colour for matching-card bonuses.
- The code DP01 printed vertically along the top-right edge.
- A habitat icon at the left of the name bar: a teal band over a brown ground.
- The card name River Lyd in the name bar.
- A small 1 at the right end of the name bar: the number of this card that exists in the game.
- A bonus panel at the bottom-left, shaped as a coloured arrow with a binoculars symbol. Under the Dartmoor rules, this arrow marks a bonus that activates only when the card is paid for with matching cards.
- The bonus icon beside the arrow: a black circular repeat arrow.
- A score line at the bottom-right: 1 acorn, then a multiplication sign, then a dragonfly icon in a purple square.
River Lyd
- Cost: 2 (top-left number). Pay it by placing 2 other cards from your hand face up into the clearing, as with any card.
- Tree symbol: leaf icon in a green tag (top-right).
- Number in the game: 1.
- Bonus: the repeat arrow, with the binoculars arrow as the matching-card condition. If all cards you discard to pay for River Lyd show the same tree symbol as River Lyd (the leaf in a green tag), you take another full turn after this one, choosing between actions A and B, as normal. If you do not pay with matching cards, the bonus is not activated.
- Scoring: 1 acorn × dragonfly. The card scores 1 point for each dragonfly-type card in your forest. Acorns are the scoring icon on these cards.
Note: the BGG listing describes this bonus as "do one more action". The printed card shows only the repeat-arrow icon. The rulebook's icon legend defines the repeat arrow as "take another full turn after this one, choosing between actions A and B", and that is the wording used here.
