Number of players: 2 - 4

12 hats (3 in one colour), 4 catapults, target board with holes game, instructions

Game Set-Up

Each player gets a catapult and 3 little hats in one colour. If there are less than 4 players, the hats and catapults not being used, are placed to the side. When playing with 2 players, each one may use 6 hats, for example, player A the 3 red and yellow ones and player B the 3 green and blue ones.

The bottom of the box with target board is placed in the middle of the table. Each player puts his/her catapult about the same distance away from the target. Those who want to play several games, may draw a table on a piece of paper containing the names of each player, so you can record the points for each game.

Aim of the Game

The goal is to shoot your hats into the target board in the most ideal way to score as many points as possible.

Gameplay

Taking turns, each player can shoot one of his/her hats onto the target board. To do so, you place your hat, tip up, on the catapult - tap it once firmly with your finger - and the hat flies toward the target board.

In the holes, you can see different points. Only those hats that, in fact, fall into one of the holes, are scored as points. If the hat stays on the board (without falling into a hole), the shot may be repeated. If the hat doesn't land on the target board at all, the shot may not be repeated. In this case, it is the next player's turn.

One player (when children are concerned, it has to be someone who can write) records the points scored by each player after their shot - or a strike in case the hat didn't hit the target. The game continues until each player has shot all their hats.

The point value printed in each hole is not stated in the text of this rule sheet.

End of the Game

After all hats have been shot, the points of each player are summed up. Whoever has the most points wins the game.

You can also play several games and then determine the overall winner.
