Components

42 flower tiles
1 bag
1 easel (player aid)
2 Storefront frames
Parfait Cat token
Tapioca Cat token

Setup

Assemble and place the player aid easel between both players. Place the bag of flower tiles within reach.
Place one phone in between both players and tap PLAY.
Place one Storefront frame in front of each player. Place a cat token on 0 on each frame.
Each player draws one tile and places it roughly horizontally in the center of their frame.

Overview

In Floristry, you and your rival flower shop owner compete to create the most charming floral display. After 10 rounds, whoever has the most points wins.

You earn Points for your largest patch of each flower type:

Tulip
Mums
Rose
Hydrangea
Daisy
Lily

The player with more money at the end may also earn Points, so pay attention to your funds.

Gameplay

Each round has 3 steps:

Prepare: At the start of each round, draw 4 tiles and place them beside the phone to create the Market.
Auction: use the app to buy flower tiles.
Decorate: place your tiles into your frame.

Auction

To begin, both players press and hold the READY button in the app, then release at the same time to start the 15 second auction. The price will go down every 3 seconds.

To win the auction, tap the Purchase Price on your side before your rival taps their side. The app will deduct your funds. Then select 3 flower tiles from the Market.
The other player takes the remaining tile for free.
If no one taps before the clock reaches zero, discard the tiles to the box and begin a new round.

The app screen shows the Auction Timer, the Pause Button, your Remaining Funds, and the Purchase Price (tap here to buy).

Decorate

Place your new flower tiles into your frame. You may rotate them.

At least one edge must fully touch the edge of an existing tile (NOT corner to corner).
You may NOT reposition tiles placed in previous rounds.
You may slide your frame at any time.

Game End

The game ends after the 10th round. Score your Storefront frame!

Scoring

All scoring happens at the end of the game. The app will walk you through scoring; just press NEXT. Use your Parfait or Tapioca cat token to track your points, which you gain in 2 ways:

Each player gains points only for their largest patch of each flower type using the chart below. Score Tulips, Roses, Mums, Daisies, Hydrangeas, & Lilies in order.
Score the difference in funds using the chart below. Award the points to the player with more funds. For example, if Parfait has 11, and Tapioca has 4, the difference is 7, and Parfait gets 3 points.

Whoever has the most points wins!
In case of a tie, share the joy or play again.

Example: Your largest Tulip patch (8 yellow Tulips) scores 3 points. Move your cat token 3 spaces. Then score your Roses, Mums, Daisies, Hydrangeas, & Lilies. Smaller patches do not score.
