Early Planning
Early Planning Mini Expansion
During the game's setup, shuffle the 8 Early Planning cards and give 2 to each player. Each player chooses one to keep, placing it in their Farm, and discards the other one.
The Early Planning cards count as one of the 4 location types and have the ability that other cards can be built on top of them. Building a location of the same type on top of them costs 2 less. Building any other type costs 1 less.
Events
Events Mini Expansion
During the game's setup, shuffle all the Event cards and put them on a face-down pile near the other cards.
Starting from the second year, at the beginning of each Upkeep Phase, before doing anything else, draw the first Event of the pile and apply its effect.
Variant
If you want, you may draw an Event card even during the first year. However, some of the Events may not apply properly. In such a case, discard it and draw a new one.
