How does Three-of-a-Kind work, and what about four of a kind or converted dice?

You need three dice showing exactly the same face (colour can differ, misses do not count) on your rolled dice in Preparation, before any skill converts results. Then you change one die to a face of your choice. Four of a kind works the same way, changing only one die, and a mix like two shots and a skill shot does not qualify.
