Can I equip or swap armour and other gear during a combat scene?

You can equip a newly found item immediately only if a slot is free; otherwise it goes to the party bag. Replacing gear you already wear has to wait until the scene is over, and trading between heroes is not allowed during combat. Outside combat you can rearrange everything freely.
