Setting up the Game

- Place the bingo tokens and the answer board within the play area.
- Each player selects one bingo board and one screen of the same color.
- Each player receives 12 sticks (2 of each color).
NOTE: Place the remaining sticks aside. Players can use them if they need more sticks.
Playing the Game
The first player to successfully stack 2 sticks on top of each other, small end to small end, is the starting player. You can also choose a starting player at random.
The starting player becomes the Card Reader of the first round.
- The Card Reader reveals the top token from the numbered tokens stack. This number indicates which numbered space players will cover on their bingo board, if they win this activity.
- The Card Reader takes the top card from the draw deck of activity cards and proceeds with the activity.
- Depending on the type of activity, the front side of the card may be revealed to everyone, or for the Card Reader's eyes only.
Activity Cards
There are eight categories. Each category consists of a different activity to accomplish.
Wit Challenge: Reveal the front side of the card to everyone and follow the instructions. Players secretly select sticks and guess the quantities or colors of the chosen sticks. Or they try to be the only player to hold a given color or quantity.
Skill Challenge: Reveal the front side of the card to everyone and follow the instructions. Players take turns adding sticks to build a structure or try their best to beat their opponents in collaborative challenges. Odds of winning improve when opponents make mistakes.
Speed Builder: Reveal the front side of the card to everyone. All players race to build the structure shown. The first player to present the completed structure wins. Structures must match the image on the card exactly and be presented before it falls down. The Card Reader may start the activity as soon as the front side of the card has been revealed; however, in some instances, particularly when you play with children, you may want to wait until everyone says that they are ready.
Memory Builder: Reveal the front side of the card to everyone. All players study the image then build the structure from memory. Give equal viewing time to all players and flip the card over to hide the image. Players build the structure behind their screen. At the same time all structures are revealed. Every player who built the structure correctly wins.
Number Quiz: Reveal the front side of the card to everyone. All players secretly select the number of sticks equal to the answer which is between 0 and 8. At the same time all sticks are revealed. Check the correct number using the answer board. Any player(s) with the correct number of sticks wins.
Example: If the number of the card is D4, the correct answer is 2.
Knowledge Quiz: Reveal the front side of the card to everyone. All players secretly select the number of sticks that matches the answer to the question. At the same time all sticks are revealed. Check the correct answer using the answer board. Any player(s) with the matching number of sticks wins.
Secret Plans: The Card Reader secretly looks at the front side of the card and keeps the image hidden. They describe the structure out loud to other players. The other players silently listen and try to build the structure behind their screen. At the same time all structures are revealed. Every player who builds the structure correctly wins. If at least one player wins, the Card Reader also wins.
Create It: The Card Reader secretly looks at the front side of the card and keeps the image hidden. They silently create the image with sticks. Each other player gets two chances to guess the object created by the Card Reader. If any player guesses correctly, they win and the Card Reader also wins. If necessary, the Card Reader can use the remaining sticks or someone else's sticks.
Bingo Marker
Once the activity is completed, each winning player receives one bingo token. Place this token on the numbered space that matches the numbered token drawn before the activity on your bingo board. If that number is already covered up, then the player may choose any other open spot on their bingo board to place the token.
Example: Numbered token 11 was drawn before the activity. The winner of the activity places one bingo token over the spot of 11 on their board.
Next Activity
Now the activity is complete. Place the activity card and the numbered token in the corresponding discard pile. The player to the left becomes the Card Reader for the next activity. If there are no activity cards or numbered tokens left, shuffle discarded ones to make a stack.
End of the Game
The first player to place four bingo tokens in a row on their bingo board wins!
- Four horizontally... wins!
- Four vertically... wins!
- Four diagonally... wins!
If a tie occurs, the player with more bingo tokens among them wins. If a tie still persists, the tied players will share the victory.
