Components

  • 6 double-sided wheels
  • 100 picture cards
  • Illustrated rules

Object of the Game

Turn over a card with a picture, spin the wheel as fast as you can, and look in the windows for the same symbol as on the card. For each round won, the player gets the card as a point.

Setup

Players agree on a common difficulty level:

  • Level I is played with the green cards.
  • Level II is played with the red cards.
  • Level III is played with both the green and the red cards (half and half).

Each player receives one double-sided wheel.

Choose 18 cards, shuffle them thoroughly, and place this deck in the middle of the table.

Gameplay

Game No. 1 – Originals

Level I

(Played with the green cards on the green side of the wheel.)

  1. Turn over the top card of the deck and look at the picture.
  2. Spin the wheel in either direction until the picture appears in any of the 3 windows.
  3. The winning point (the card with the sought picture) goes to the player who finds the symbol fastest.
  4. Turn over the next card from the deck and play again.
  5. The game ends when the deck is used up. The player with the most cards wins.

Level II

(Played with the red cards on the red side of the wheel.)

  1. Turn over the top card of the deck and look at the pair of pictures.

  2. Spin the wheel in either direction until both pictures appear in any of the 3 windows.

CAUTION! The pair may appear together in one window, or in two different windows.

  3. The winning point (the card with the sought picture) goes to the player who finds both symbols fastest.

  4. Turn over the next card from the deck and play again.

  5. The game ends when the deck is used up. The player with the most cards wins.

Level III

(Played with both colours on both sides of the wheel.)

Level III is played as a combination of Level I and Level II; it depends on the current card in play.

If the current card is green, use the green side of the wheel to search. If the current card is red, look for a pair of pictures on the red side of the wheel.

Game Variants

Game No. 2 – Last Place

  1. Play with 18 cards, and choose one of the three Levels described in Game No. 1.
  2. Players again look for the picture or pair of pictures shown on the card.
  3. The slowest player takes the card.
  4. Once the deck is used up, the player with the fewest cards wins.

Game No. 3 – Storytelling (3 or more players)

  1. Play on either colour side of the wheel.

  2. In each round, one player describes. On their wheel, they choose one of the pictures and describe it without naming it directly, adding details about the described picture one at a time. For example:

    • "Has a hat!"
    • "Lives in snow!"
    • "Has a carrot for a nose!"
  3. The other players look in the windows of their own wheel for the described picture.

  4. The fastest player wins a point (one card) and describes in the next round.

  5. The player who first reaches 5 points wins.

Game No. 4 – In a Row

  1. Play with 18 cards, and choose one of the three Levels described in Game No. 1.
  2. Lay 6 cards from the deck in a row in the middle of the table.
  3. All players try to find, as quickly as possible, the picture or pair of pictures shown on the first card. The game always starts with the first card from the left.
  4. As soon as one player finds the matching picture, they take the card, and play continues by searching for the symbol(s) on the second card.
  5. Once the entire first row of cards has been taken, lay out the second six cards on the table.
  6. Once the whole deck has been taken, the player with the most collected cards wins.

Game No. 5 – Letter Game (3 or more players)

  1. This variant is played on either side of the wheel.

  2. The caller chooses one of the pictures in a window of their wheel and says aloud the first letter of the chosen word.

The example on the sheet shows the caller saying "Starts with 'M'" and, for another picture, "Starts with 'A'."

  3. The other players look for a picture starting with the chosen letter. It does not necessarily have to be the same picture the caller chose.

  4. The fastest player wins a point (one card) and becomes the caller for the next round.

  5. The player who first reaches 5 points wins.

Game No. 6 – Rhyming Game (3 or more players)

  1. This variant is played on either side of the wheel.

  2. The caller chooses one object from the windows of their wheel and says a rhyme for the chosen word.

The example on the sheet shows one picture described as rhyming with "chyba" (error) and another, a guitar, described as rhyming with "fanfára" (fanfare).

  3. The other players look for a picture that rhymes with the given word. It need not be the same picture the caller chose, but the picture must fit the given rhyme.

  4. The fastest player wins a point (one card) and becomes the caller for the next round.

  5. The player who first reaches 5 points wins.
