Event Cards
Each Event card is listed by its printed title and card number. Where the card shows a Ruler panel, the Ruler's name, dynasty and dates are given with the stat icons as printed. Options labelled A and B are two separate choices on the card.
Habsburg Family Feud (101-3)
Circle marker: 1.

Add 1 [X icon] and 2 [people icon] in AUSTRIA.
A) Get in line: Austria gains [(1) token icon] and 1 [X icon], rejects Albrecht VI, and keeps their current Ruler. You may either add 2 [X icon] in AUSTRIA or gain 1 [X icon].
B) Albrecht VI seizes power: Austria loses 1 [cross icon] and may pay 1 [X icon] to remove 2 [people icon] from their Realm. You gain 1 [hand icon].
The Ravages of War (301-3)

Place [ravage marker icon] in 2 HRE Areas with Occupied Provinces and/or Units Hostile to 1+ Realms in the Area. Reduce a Large [ring icon] to a Small [ring icon] in each of the Areas.
A) Shield the Erblande: Austria may remove 2 [X icon] and 1 [ravage marker icon] from their Realm.
B) Repair relations: Remove 1 [ravage marker icon] from an HRE Area to gain 2 [cube icon] there.
Reichshofrat (101-4)

A) Create this new council: Austria loses 1 [cross icon] but may Appoint a Diplomatic Advisor from the discards for free, and/or pay 2 [hand icon] to Research any Diplomatic Idea on display.
B) Leave such affairs to the nobles: Austria gains 1 [cross icon] and may remove 1 [X icon] from their Realm. You gain 1 [hand icon].
Perpetual Reichstag (381B)
Circle marker: X.
Top-left symbol: a red prohibition-style icon.
You gain 1 [hand icon]. All PRs with 1+ [ring icon] in an HRE Area may pay 1 [hand icon] to choose:
A) Pursue selfish agenda: Pay 10 ducats to gain 2 [token icon] and remove 1 [X icon].
B) Seek unity: Remove any PR's [shield icon] from an HRE Area. Gain 1 [cube icon] there.
Increase [eagle icon] by 1 if no one picked A and lower it by 1 if no one picked B.
The Augsburg Settlement (281B)

A) Cuius regio, eius religio: Pick an HRE Area with your [ring icon], and either change its Religion to match your State Religion or remove a [shield icon] from it.
B) It's complicated: Place a Diverse Faiths token and gain a [shield icon] in an HRE Area adjacent to your Realm. You, and any PRs adjacent to this Area gain 1 [X icon] each.
Habsburg Dynasty (201-3)
Circle marker: 1.
Ruler panel: Karl V, Habsburg, 1516–1556. Printed values: [scroll icon] 2, [hand icon] 3, [X icon] 3.
A) Expand the Habsburg dynasty: Austria gains a [crown token icon] and an [crossed-tools icon] with 1 of Castile, Burgundy, or Bohemia, and 4 [cube icon] in their new Ally's Areas or in HRE Areas. Increase [eagle icon] by 1. PRs not Allied to Austria gain 1 [X icon] each.
B) Dynastic dispute: Austria rejects Karl V and must flip one of their [token icon] to its [token icon] side, but gains 2 [X icon]. Lower [eagle icon] by 1.
Ostend Company (481B)
Circle marker: 1.
Top-left symbols: an orange ship icon and a skull-and-crossbones icon.
A) Furnish an expedition: You may pay 1 [hand icon] to take an Explore Action. If you discover a Distant Area, gain a free Trade Action. If not, gain 1 [box icon].
B) Woo investors: You must pay 3 ducats. Other PRs may pay 3 ducats too. If more than ½ of all PRs pay, those who paid gain 2 [hand icon] each, and you score [(2) token icon] as well. If not, those who paid lose 1 [hand icon] each, and you lose [(2) token icon] as well.
Emperorship Challenged (401-3)

A) Time for an Empress: Increase [eagle icon] by 1. The Emperor gains an [crossed-tools icon] with an NPR HRE member. PRs adjacent to the Emperor each gain a [shield icon] in an HRE Area. You gain 1 [X icon].
B) Only men can rule: Reduce [eagle icon] by 2 and remove 2 Imperial [cube icon]. The Emperor gains [X icon] equal to the [eagle icon] in Elector Areas.
The Hanseatic League (181B)
Circle marker: X.
Top-left symbols: a skull-and-crossbones icon and a crossed-out ship icon.
A) Hansa members form a union: Add Hanseatic League as green [hex icon] on Lübeck, and 3 of Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg, Stralsund, Danzig, or Riga. You either gain 1 [hand icon], or an [crossed-tools icon] with Hanseatic League.
B) Seek trade opportunities: Take a free Trade Action. If you pick a Trade Node adjacent to any of the Provinces listed above, gain 5 ducats extra.
