Goal of the Game
Place 4 balls in a line horizontally, vertically or diagonally before your opponent does.
Setup
Insert the 16 pegs into the holes in the base, with the slotted ends pointing down.
Take the 16 balls of one colour for yourself and give the 16 balls of the other colour to your opponent.
Turn Order
Decide who starts the game. The first player places a ball on any peg. The opponent then does the same. Players take turns in this way until a line of four balls of the same colour has been formed.
Moving Balls
In some cases all of the balls of one or both players may already be on the pegs, and no line of four has been formed. In that case the players continue the game by moving balls that are already on the pegs. To do this, remove your top ball from any peg and place it on another peg.
Important Movement Rules
- When moving, you may remove only the topmost ball from a peg.
- Players may remove and move only their own balls.
Winning the Game
The player who first places 4 balls in a line vertically, horizontally or diagonally becomes the winner.
