Card: Annual Gathering (Era I Culture)
The card is a single Culture card. Its face shows an illustration with a red bowl, and below the art a scroll-shaped panel carries two rows of icons. Its back is a landscape illustration with no rules text.
Printed elements on the front:
- Top-left: a hide-shaped badge showing the number 1.
- Title banner: "Annual Gatherings" (English edition) or "Annual Gathering" (Essen promo).
- Octagonal badge showing the number 2, beside the title.
Top row (the player who plays the card, "Self"):
- 2 Tools (two stone axe icons)
- 4 Food (a meat icon with a "4")
Bottom row (all other players):
- A group of people icon, followed by two small round stone icons, then 1 Tool (a stone axe icon) and 2 Food (two meat icons).
Effect
Transcribed from the icons above. The card has no printed words for the effect.
- Self gains 2 Tools and 4 Food.
- All other players each gain 1 Tool and 2 Food.
Gaps and judgment calls
- The card is icon-only. Its words are not printed, so the effect wording above is taken from the icon layout and from the BGG effect description ("Self gains 2 Tools and 4 Food; all other players gain 1 Tool and 2 Food"). No other rules text exists on the card.
- The people icon in the bottom row is read as "all other players" from its position under the Self row. That reading comes from the BGG effect description, not from printed words.
- The two small round stone icons next to the people icon, and the hide badge with the number 1, are printed on the card but are not explained by the card's icons or the BGG description. They are transcribed as printed and are not given a rule here.
- The octagonal "2" badge is printed on the card, and its meaning is not stated on the card.
