Gameplay
Each envelope takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete, but there is no countdown clock, so feel free to take your time. Each package contains a letter from the Koschei Society, which should be read first, as it will help you get started. Beyond that, there is no need to search for one specific starting point as most of the puzzles can be solved in any order.
You will need a device with internet access, and will be told when it is necessary to use it in order to solve a puzzle. Otherwise, you can assume all the information you need is included.
Aside from the links specified in the game materials, the Koschei Society website also includes optional content for those who wish to dig deeper into the story. It won't help you solve what's in this box, but you may come across some extra puzzles should you find yourself hungry for more.
There is also an online chat portal into which you will submit solutions in order to advance through the game. When you start a session, enter the month printed on the envelope you've just opened. Once you complete a chapter, you will be told to expect a new package, which means you may open the next envelope and continue the game.
Tips
Some useful things to have as you play are a pencil, eraser, ruler, and a keen sense of observation. In part 2, scissors and tape will also come in handy. In part 3 you will need some matches or a lighter.

Some items will need to be written on or altered in some way, so don't be afraid to do so when needed. If you'd like to preserve your paper components you can print replacements by downloading a folder of PDF files at the link on the "Scan for Downloadable PDF Files" QR code. The refill kit in this box includes replacements for the components which cannot be reprinted.
Make sure you keep your materials, as some items from the first two chapters will be needed in the third. (Items from the first chapter will not be needed in the second.)
