Objective

Aim to score 11 points.

  • Players: 2-6
  • Play time: 30 min
  • Age: 8+

Components

100 cards:

  • "1" to "9": 2 cards each of 5 colors
  • 10 "0/10" cards

Setup

Shuffle all cards face down and deal 11 cards to each player.

Place a deck of remaining cards on the table.

Determine the start player in whatever way you like.

How to Play

Beginning with the start player, players take turns in clockwise order.

1. Playing a Card(s)

On your turn, play a single card or two or more consecutive number cards.

"10/0" can be played either as "0" or "10". (Thus, the longest sequence is 11 consecutive numbers of "0" through "10".)

* You cannot place "10/0" between "9" and "1" to form such a sequence.

How to play the card(s) depends on the number of cards to play.

(A) Playing two or more consecutive number cards

Place the cards in front of you. If you already have some cards in front of you, discard them and place your newly-played cards.

(B) Playing only one card

Discard the card.

2. Drawing a Card(s)

Draw from the deck a number of cards equal to the number of colors of the cards you have just played. ("10/0" may be of any color.)

If you played only one card, instead of drawing a card from the deck, you may choose to take a card from among those in front of another player. In such a case, you cannot take a card from among those in front of you.

3. Point Acquisition

If you end up with a hand of one card after drawing a card, you acquire points. (Thus, you have played all the cards from your hand as a sequence of same-color cards.)

Reveal your hand of one card. You acquire points equal to the number on that card. Note that "10/0" counts as 10 points.

Then check your score. If your score has reached (or exceeded) 11 points, the game ends and you win.

Otherwise, draw from the deck a number of cards equal to the number on the card in your hand and continue the game. (If you reveal "1", you end up with a hand of one card again, so repeat step 3.)

Place the card by which you have scored points visibly to everyone. This card will not be used in the rest of the game.

End of the Game

If any player scores 11 or more points, that player is the winner and the game ends.

If playing multiple games, calculate the score at the end of each game and the player with the most points in total wins. In case of a tie, the tied players share the victory.
