Are defeated investigators replaced when Doom hits zero and the Ancient One awakens?
Rulebook gives the general rule; the edge case of a defeat that itself brings Doom to zero was not settled in the thread.

An investigator defeated before the Ancient One awakens chooses a new investigator at the end of the Mythos Phase. Once the Ancient One is awake, a defeated investigator is eliminated and not replaced. Whether a defeat that itself brings Doom to zero counts as before or after awakening was argued without a settled answer.
