Why does the rulebook not recommend an Outside Interest for Shapers, and can a non-Shaper use Shaper cards?
The rulebook defines conduits and manifestations, but the Expert trait of conduits and the reasoning come from agreeing community posts.

Shaper cards depend on a conduit, and conduits carry the Expert trait, so only a Shaper can include them. Outside Interest cards cannot be Expert, so a non-Shaper would mostly end up with Shaper cards usable only for their approach icons. Manifestations can be put in a deck without a conduit if the Expert and aspect rules allow, but they cannot be played without a conduit token.
