Where does a path card go when an effect puts it into play instead of drawing it?
Several players agree and it follows the rulebook's path card placement.

It is treated as drawn by the active Ranger, so it is placed along the way or within reach according to its arrow. When another Ranger's challenge effect brings a card into play within reach, it lands within reach of the Ranger performing the test.
