You take control of one opposing Unit for the battle. The Unit is effectively yours and stops belonging to its owner, but you do not gain its owner's Adventure cards. Monsters cannot be pulled, but a Dominated Monster is a Unit and can be. Winning with a borrowed Dragon counts for the Dragon War quest. The Unit's owner still gets the Sword if it goes to the Underworld.
