Goal of the Game
Doggy Go! is a speed game in which players try to be the first to complete the patterns on Acrobat cards with their Doggy tiles. Whoever scores the most Acrobat cards in the end wins the game.
Game Preparation
- Each player takes one set of 7 different Doggy tiles and 1 Stage card.
- Shuffle all Acrobat cards with random sides to form a draw pile. You are ready to play.
Game Round
This is a speed game, so all players will act simultaneously.
- The oldest player turns over 3 Acrobat cards and places them in the center of the table. Everyone screams "Doggy Go!" and the game starts.
- All players arrange their own Doggy tiles and Stage card to match the pattern on any one of the Acrobat cards as fast as possible.
- If any player thinks that she has completed the pattern, she shouts out loud "Doggy! Goal!" and slaps on the respective Acrobat card. And all players stop their actions immediately.
Figure A (in the source) shows an Acrobat card, Doggy tiles and a Stage card.
If the Pattern Is CORRECT (Figure A)
- The winning player places the corresponding Acrobat card in front of her as her scores.
- Remove the other 2 Acrobat cards to the discard pile.
- The winning player turns over 3 new Acrobat cards and the next round starts.
Note: If there are not enough cards in the draw pile to refill to 3 cards, simply shuffle the discard pile to form a new draw pile.
If the Pattern Is INCORRECT
- Remove the other 2 Acrobat cards to the discard pile.
- Remove all Acrobat cards to the discard pile.
- The faulty player turns over 3 new Acrobat cards and the next round starts.
Game End and the Winner
- The game comes to the final round when the draw pile is exhausted for the second time (can't refill to 3 cards). After this round, the game ends.
- Players count the number of their scored Acrobat cards. The player with the most Acrobat cards wins the game.
- If there is a tie, play an extra round with the discard pile to determine the winner.
